The inspiration for the fuss-free French food and the stylish interior comes from the traditional bistros of Paris. The emphasis is on simply, reasonably priced dishes and the menu includes familiar Gallic favourites like moules marinières, steak frites with skinny frites, duck confit and the Côte dessert speciality, crème caramel. Reimagining their much-loved restaurant, Casa will offer a contemporary, accessible, yet refined take on traditional Italian dining, acting as a sibling to Peter’s Michelin-starred Spanish institution Paco Tapas next door. The 66-cover restaurant will offer a similarly relaxed environment in which to enjoy a dynamic menu created by Peter and Executive Chef Joel Breakwell.Dishes will be made using high quality ingredients from the very best Italian and British producers, working with many of the same local suppliers that the team have partnered with for years. Tomo No Ramen is a ramen restaurant spawned from lockdown pop-ups by head chef and owner James Stuart. Set in a cosy site in Old Market full of moody lighting, hanging plants, and exposed brick with great tunes and banging local beers and Japanese whiskies. Our food is - as you would expect - fully focused on the ramen. Every element is made from scratch, and the menu changes seasonally along with regular specials that often use traditional ramen-making techniques applied to less traditional ingredients.With glowing reviews from Bristol Post and Bristol24/7, along with being featured in Bristol Post's "Places in Bristol you have to eat in 2022" and awarded "Best New Popup" by Bristol24/7, you can be sure to expect a great meal.
With our new kitchen team headed up by Master Chef the professionals semi finalist 2011 and Nestle young chef of the year 2008 Sebastian Merry, from the Michelin starred restaurant scene to be the next big thing in Bristol. Rather than feeling the need to dress up for an evening with us we just want you to feel comfortable in your surroundings and enjoy some delicious food and delectable drinks and maybe even join the party downstairs after your meal with our fully stocked cocktail bar with some of the cities finest bartenders, the best of local beer and wine handpicked by Sebastian and the management team.
