Bricks & Barrels is a steak and seafood experience voted three consecutive years as Charleston's Favorite Restaurant in the annual People's Choice Awards. Known for its unique ambience that relaxes the mind and rejuvenates the spirit, Bricks & Barrels features four semi-private dining areas that give the sensation of dining inside a whiskey barrel. The restaurant’s interior features wooden whiskey barrels used as dining tables contrasted against the rustic brick façade. But the food & drinks are the highlight, with the Green Tomato Napoleon being a favorite appetizer. The Mediterranean Chicken was nominated for Charleston's best dish by The Food Guy, a local food critic: bone-in chicken breast braised in capers, figs and olives created a beautiful symphony of flavors (sweet, tart, salty, earthy) on a colorful, gorgeously presented plate." Charleston's Favorite Bartender Drew serves specialty cocktails, local craft beer and award-winning wines. Memories are made at Bricks & Barrels.

Eating at Smokey's is not an everyday dining experience. Our flagship restaurant, Smokey's is a showcase timber-frame pavilion perched right smack dab on the rim of the New River Gorge. The gourmet food combined with friendly service and casual atmosphere has to be experienced to be believed. Optional seating on our outdoor deck offers spectacular views of the Appalachian sunsets. Outdoor seating is first come, first served. RESERVATIONS are not accepted on weekends.

    The food was outstanding as was the service. Our server John was was excellent - friendly, attentive, offered suggestions and options to work around my food allergies. Also offered wine suggestions and alternatives when initial tastes didn’t fit what I wanted to match my entree. We’d had a very long day of driving and wanted a relaxed, quality meal. John couldn’t have made our experience more enjoyable and unhurried. Would highly recommend!

    This was our first time at Paulie's. There were three of us. My wife had the flounder, our friend had the lasagna and I had the bone in prime rib. The food was delicious. For dessert we enjoyed the bread pudding. Our server Natalia was excellent. The restaurant manager Michael stopped by several times to check on our experience. The restrooms were very clean. Overall it was a great experience.
