Nami Nori is a casual, Japanese restaurant specializing in open-style temaki hand rolls, located in Montclair. The menu features signature hand rolls, including crunchy varieties, as well as classic versions, and a special vegan section. Japanese-inspired dishes from the kitchen and desserts are also on offer. We accept reservations up to 30 days in advance. Please note that the grace period is 10 minutes for guests who are running late.     Ambience, if a bit loud on a Saturday night, food and service were excellent. Many wonderful menu offerings. Our party had bronzino, chicken parmigiana, roasted chicken chunks and pasta with crab meat. Everyone enjoyed their meal. It’s BYO. We will be back.

    We tried this for the first time and it was excellent. The ambiance and decor is beautiful and everyone was professional. The food was excellent as were the Negronis. The staff has obviously been well trained but they do not seem to be experienced servers. Our waitress could not answer questions about the special fish dish without going to see a chef or supervisor. Even then she couldn't tell us how it was prepared. But we understand that everyone is new at their job at some point. We would definitely go back again.

    So incredible The food is indescribable - so amazingly delicious. The staff is the best - relaxed, happy and kind. Had the immense pleasure of meeting Shelby this evening. A tremendously kind, smart and passionate key team leader for the organization. We feel like we’ve made a new friend and had one of the best meals of our lives. How lucky are we to call Nami Nori one of our local favs.
