Our Italian dishes are centuries old recipes handed down from our family throughout the years.     The Hackney is always an exceptional dining experience. The food, service, and ambience are equally outstanding. During this experience, we enjoyed the collards salad, filet medallions, grouper crabcakes, and creme brule on the Price Fixe Menu with wine pairings. The chosen wine pairings were absolutely perfect . I cannot say enough about The Hackney, a true gem in beautiful Little Washington.

    Our recent experience at Proof was outstanding. Celebrated family birthdays and anniversary. The staff provided excellent cuisine, professional service and more than a welcoming atmosphere. Shoutout to Gillian who took excellent care of us and Andrew, the owner, who stopped by to talk. It was the first day of their new seasonal menu and we tried several dishes. The crab dip appetizer , the shrimp and pasta and the gnocchi main dishes were exceptional. Don’t pass up the tiramisu. Hands down the best any where.

    We’ve visited this establishment before . Each time was excellent, but they’ve ‘upped’ their game. Redecorated. New Menu. The chef is Amazing , and the service / staff very attentive. A great evening . Well worth a visit , even from Chesapeake.
