Service was great, even though our server was the only one on that night. The food was excellent, portions were adequate. Loved the atmosphere, and it was not noisy. No bread though... which wasn't a problem, since I'm not eating bread. The filet was one of the best I've ever had. Will definitely be a returning customer. Also easy to get to... no crowds.

Dinner was fabulous with the fire pit outside with the snow covered ground along with acoustic guitar playing inside by the bar. Drinks were also spectacular ( cucumber mojito and chocolate martinis). Highly recommend Secondo for dinner! Joe Bondiskey

We had a lovely entrees of short ribs and Cornish hen. We found the onion soup tasty with sweet onions and mushrooms but with a very thin broth which was disappointing. The escargot came in an unusual presentation, with each snail in its own pastry tartlet and was quite tasty. The crème brule would have been fantastic without the pumpkin infusion. The red velvet cheesecake was delicious. We will definitely return to sample the next seasonal menu.

Everything was fine and the manager Marley was outstanding she knew all the answers to all my questions. Very helpful beautiful setting good food and great service. Will be back.

This is our first visit to Sandalwood Indian Kitchen Restaurant, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Om, our server was excellent. He was attentive. polite, and personable. We ordered the garlic naan, and it tasted very good. Next, we had the samosas as an appetizer, and they were excellent. The samosa filling was perfect. For our appetizers, we ordered Butter Chicken and Shrimp Biryani. The Butter chicken had a deep, flavorful, rich, tasty, smooth, creamy sauce. The shrimp Biryani had a few large shrimp. The rice was cooked to perfection. There was basmati rice and saffron rice with the shrimp. Both portions were plentiful. The decor was pleasant. Sandalwood India Kitchen is located one block west of the Garden State Parkway on Route 47. We will be returning to Sandalwood Restaurant.
