However, this is the 2nd time I have had dinner at Emry's Garden and it has become a favorite for me and many of my friends. I had dinner last night with friends and it was a perfect evening! Reservation was easy, pleasant hostess who thought enough to seat us at a window seat to accomodate a tall guest who might have been uncomfortable in a chair!!! Our server was charming and paid just the right amount of attention to us as we were so busy chatting. Food - as good this time as last time! I appreciate that the wine 'pours' are in the correct glasses and are generous..... not a tiny glass!!!! Lighting is great and flattering!!! Date night anyone??? The atmosphere is nice, a variety of specials are offered each day and the food is always delicious. Cocktails are also very well-made. The staff is always warm and welcoming, however, I have to give a special nod to our waiter Steve. Steve is always so helpful, provides excellent service and is so enjoyable to talk with. The tomahawk steak, creamed spinach, and asparagus were phenomenal, the Frenchy’s cocktails were delicious, and the crème brûlée was heavenly! The atmosphere was beautiful and lively, yet comfortable for conversation. Our server, Brendan, was truly 1000/10! Warm, attentive without being overbearing, and incredibly thoughtful. He made us feel genuinely special, turning an already wonderful dinner into a beautiful memory of our first year of marriage. An unforgettable anniversary experience worth every penny.
