Our family run business started 17 years ago and since then we have been voted Best Of The Best on TripAdvisor for over 10 consecutive years and are considered one of the best restaurants in Dubrovnik based upon the opinion of our reviewers. Our main goal is to create family friendly dining experience for our guests, while being served by our welcoming staff consisting of our well versed and unmatched servers who truly care for them and strive to make sure that they are feeling great and satisfied each moment they spend at Portun. Our restaurant is located on a small romantic street right next to the main plaza, so all our guests can enjoy the local scenery filled with amazing Dubrovnik energy and beauty yet spend a great and restful time without being overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of the main promenade.

    Our second time dining at Sesame and both times it’s been exceptional. Set in a beautiful old building, our table was perched on a balcony amidst the trees. Service was excellent. The food was divine! The pizzas and homemade pasta dishes were particularly delicious. We also had cocktails which were great and an excellent red wine. Absolutely perfect evening. .

    Beautiful seating, overlooking Lapad Bay. Spacious terrace. Food first-rate: prawn and anchovy bruschetta, tagliatelle with scampi, pljukanci with beef ragu. Good selection of wines by the glass. Our waitress, Ivana, was superb: attentive, helpful and very polite. Best meal we had in the area. I do recommend you book early though and reserve a table overlooking the bay.

    Lots of little cafes but this is one not to be missed. Borgia our server was kind and gave excellent recommendations. Each dish was outstanding; some of the best meals we have had. Service was attentive and the ambiance of the side street and watching the city shift from day to night was perfect.
