Mimimi is a cozy Pan-Asian Restaurant located in Millidgeville, Saint John. “Mi” is the Mandarin pronunciation for “rice,” a staple of Asian cuisine and a symbol of comfort and togetherness. Since 2018, we’ve been blending the best local ingredients of New Brunswick with the rich traditions of Asian cuisine. We’re proud of our flavourful ramen—especially Tonkotsu and TanTan Spicy Ramen—along with Cantonese dim sum, Chinese-style slow-cooked and stir-fry dishes. Our Pad Thai and Thai curries are also local favourites. We offer a long table that seats up to 20 guests, as well as counter seating where you can watch our chefs in action in the open kitchen.     We were a little early and our table was ready, Alastair was our server, he was excellent. He was there when we needed them and was very efficient. We’ve had him before. He is excellent food was spectacular as always ambiance was as usual very good.

    Our waitress greeted us promptly. I was surprised that there was no Folonari in stock, however, she suggested an BB wine and it was lovely. Food was a long time coming - no fault to waitress just a busy kitchen I guess. Noise level was quite high. All in all a lovely meal with pleasant staff.

    It is such a fun spot to enjoy incredible food with an exciting atmosphere so full of life- lots of people having fun all around you! We took some friends who had never been there before, and they just were thrilled. One of our guests is a Chef, and they were very very impressed with the quality and presentation of the food. Always always have fun and so enjoy the food and atmosphere- always impressed by the level of detail and care taken- with the food and the service..

    We took our young follow there, who was up from Halifax visiting, and he enjoyed the atmosphere the food the service- so well done! We even made recommendations on taking one of their appetizers and making it a main course.. fun, fun fun
