We get our name from John Gahan, a prominent merchant and importer of wines, teas, and groceries on Prince Edward Island in the 19th century. His former place of residence is now the location of the original Gahan House in Charlottetown, P.E.     What a fantastic experience! Our party sat outside on the Halifax harbor front with a live jazz band playing in the background as part of JazzFest. The food was an amazing selection of Nova Scotia and Maritime tradition with a modern flare. Service was incredible with friendly and helpful servers. Top scores. Definitely recommend!

    Excellent. It was a wonderful experience on our wedding anniversary. Food and service were spectacular. My kid too enjoyed the time spent. Desserts were amazing too. It was clean and the standards were as high as the reputation of the hotel. The valet parking is added advantage. Being located in downtown area, it helped in visiting few other places close by as well.
