Hatoba Is the 4th restaurant from the talented team behind the Daikaya Group – Daikaya, Haikan, and Bantam King – including dynamic DC-based partners and restaurateurs Daisuke Utagawa, Executive Chef Katsuya Fukushima, and Yama Jewayni – is now open in the District’s booming ‘The Yards’ neighborhood, for both lunch and dinner service. Featuring 2,200-square feet, and seating for 89 with 50 seats in the main dining room, 26 on the patio, 9 at the bar and 13 at the kitchen bar, Hatoba – meaning dock – is opening within the Boilermaker Building in The Yards offering an original selection of Hawaiian & Filipino dishes. Signature selections at Hatoba include Poke Bowls, Spam Musubi, Saimin (Hawaiian Style Ramen), and Sisig.
