The Antica Casina di Caccia is located just a few kilometers from Cortona, near the border between Tuscany and Umbria, in one of the most picturesque areas of central Italy. Set inside the historic Villa di Piazzano, a noble Renaissance residence surrounded by olive groves and rolling hills, the restaurant offers a unique dining experience in the Tuscan countryside.The menu is inspired by Tuscan culinary traditions, enriched with elegant Sardinian touches thanks to Executive Chef Gabriele Corrias, originally from Sardinia.     This is our fourth time coming here and in Italy where fantastic food options abound, that says something about. We have a house nearby so we have been inside twice (cozy and fun to see the kitchen) and twice outside (gorgeous views and chill vibe). Both are equally great. Food is amazing (pizza night, Nonna night) and staff is so attentive. A great go-to spot!

    What a delightful setting! Beautiful old ivy-covered buildings, carefully manicured gardens and a tranquil air. After a refreshing aperitivo, we tried one of the degustation menu’s which was an exciting adventure of new combinations and tastes. The service was friendly and efficient and the whole experience left us wanting to return

    Wonderful dinner. Restaurant is tasting menu only but wonderful choices. Our group had the 10 course with a very generous wine pairing. Dinner was exquisite and a beautiful view.
