Book a table now.We’ve a large, spacious café with an exemplary five-star hygiene rating serving daily breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas, as well as a traditional Sunday roast featuring our own farm-reared pork and Angus beef.     Really good food - fine salads, a robust and doughy focaccia with fine oil and garlic, lovely menu (too hot to sample much of it yesterday) - and a very reasonable wine list for a Londoner. The caponata - featuring hazelnuts and beans - was perhaps less agro than smoky dolce and a served little hot for the weather (and above all with undercooked aubergine) but for less than £35 a head with a drink each this was a great deal. And a lovely atmosphere - relaxed mood, pretty restaurant area and some attentive staff. The restaurant is perhaps a little understaffed but who isn't these days? - hats off to Mr Sitwell for keeping fine dining alive in this part of the Somerset hills.
