I still believe it to be the best soup I have ever tasted in 70something years. But alas, yesterday was menu turnover day, so none of my fave was available. All was not lost, I had the chestnut bisque instead which was wonderful. I also went out on a limb and had the steak tartare which was fantastic and the creamy polenta to rival that which I had in Europe! And of course, service was over the top. I was afraid to order the Pork Belly Udon but was so glad that I tried something out of my usual choices, and it didn't disappoint. My husband got a delectable and perfexctly cooked burger which he very much enjoyed. He did mention that the fries were shoestring and he'd have preferred a different cut. But that is almost not noteworthy. Jennifer was a fabulous server and the whole place seemed to run like clockwork. Kudos to this family establishment and thanks for coming to the Port. Service was great, food was great, the appetizer was ok, pretzel over some cold cheese. 1st Pretzel was cooked to dark and was tough to chew they got us another 1 should’ve lighter. But was manageable. Drinks were awesome. Food was great . Deserts were great as well. Then went outside to listen to music and sit by the fire pit and sit on the relaxing chairs. Should have blankets to use with the same logo as the chairs. Great resale value. But makes the cold nights more enjoyable. Just get all cotton blankets.. But will be back again. We were so happy to be able to dine during the seasonal closing weekend and take advantage of the OH Classics pairing menu. It was delicious! We're already counting down until spring.
