Canoe is just wonderful! Eating delicious food and drinking in a beautiful garden setting next to the river on a gorgeous fall evening is my favorite! We’ve been several times over the last several years and are never disappointed. Recently, our servers have been Savanah and Myranda (name spelling?) and they’ve both been extremely professional, kind, accommodating and fun. They each ho over and beyond in their work. An example we can share is … several months ago my husband and I shared the most AMAZING pistachio desert at Canoe. I am always a chocolate fan or a fan of the caramel popcorn and ice cream they have, but this pistachio dessert was amazing! When we went back after that visit, they were no longer serving it and we nearly fell off our chairs. After several visits, we met Myranda and “whined & complained”about it to her… she promised to call us if it ever came back. Well, a couple of weeks later it did come back for one night and Myranda DID try to call us. We never connected, but c’mon! The woman totally tried to call us to tell us a dessert was back for one night! Anyway, the pistachio dessert is now back on the menu (for now) and we couldn’t be happier. I’m dedicated to the popcorn caramel ice cream, but you can’t take ice cream home. So, we got 2 pieces of the pistachio to go and have been enjoying them thoroughly at home. Anyway - we love Canoe and will be back again asap.

This has been on our list of places to go for probably 5 years. Finally it happened! Went here for the first time for our second anniversary last night, also the first time we’ve been out alone since having our first baby a month ago. It was such a great night! Our server, Corrie, was so amazing and made great suggestions on apps, oysters, sides, and wine. All around awesome. Corrie and The Optimist really made our night out special. Little “Happy Anniversary” print outs topped it all off. All of the food was delicious, not a single thing uneaten. We will definitely remember this occasion, and cannot wait to go back for another meal experience. Thank you for the amazing evening!

The view of the river was so soothing and got to sit outside in the open area for a while waiting for our party. We took nice pictures in the garden . When we finally got in with the family to celebrate my Mom’s good. It was nothing but exceptional. The waiter David really took care of us and the children and helped us pick our entrees. The branzino was delicate and a fave. Will certainly go there again.

We keep coming back due to the incredible food quality, and fantastic customer service! It’s a great atmosphere, we have never had a bad server, and the Steak is a unique experience in Atlanta. There are several great steak houses in Atlanta, Mac’s however, has become my favorite.

Always a delightful experience....Wait staff and service superb...drinks delicious...food fantastic.... And, Patrick, the maître, is the BOMB....I give BRG 5 stars!!!!!!
