My husband and I went to J Gilbert’s for our September birthdays. My husband’s strip was cooked exactly how he wanted. The green beans had candied pecans and sweetened shallots. He loves the wedge salad and tries to recreate it at home (he can’t get the dressing quite right). He didn’t taste any poblanos in the poblano potatoes though. Medium is always hit or miss with fillet mignon, but mine was spot on - cooked exactly how I wanted. The cauliflower au gratin could have cooked a little bit longer but it had a lot of flavor, and I also had the green beans. The chocolate mousse and crème brûlée sent us over the edge and we left completely stuffed! This was the first time we went at 7:30 on a Monday and almost every table was full. This made it very noisy. Before 6:30 or after 8 would be more ideal if you want a quieter setting. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We are so glad we went!

We loved the meals we experienced here. The salmon spinach dip was amazing. The pork chop was so tender and favorable! The filet was perfection. Our server Marquis was friendly and perfect! Will ask for him again.
