Anytime we visit Burleigh, we always make sure to book a reservation at Rick Shores and it never disappoints. Tonight, was the same, even with two kids in tow, we knew we had to visit. We definitely ordered too much but there was no dish that I regret ordering, they were all so flavoursome and delicious. I particularly love savoury dishes and the roti prawn toast definitely delivered on the umami flavour front. The bug roll is signature and always needed. The truffle spring rolls were full of truffle and so delicious. The prawn hargow had huge chunks of prawn, super delicious. The oysters, natural and fried were fantastic opening appetisers. The drinks are always really great, especially the cocktails too! I was definitely in my “Golden Era” with the first cocktail. The views are unbeatable, even with a storm tonight. They do a kids menu and understand the importance of having the kids meal out quickly and first - love that. They also have high chairs available.

Went there for lunch on a Friday and staff were very friendly, food was very good -- I had the tajine chicken which was very flavoursome. Space is airy and bright, a great place to go for a long relaxing lunch!

The team at Kouzina continue to deliver on a tasty, thoughtfully crafted 3 course meal which is so lovingly curated it tastes home cooked and very authentic. The staff always make you feel welcomed and embraced and there is always an interesting mix of people. As Byron locals we always bring visitors to Kouzina to experience the best of Byron - local produce, local ingenuity and neighbourhood friendliness.

Atmosphere was good. Good selection of beers. And other beverages. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend. Food truck service was very slow. 45 minutes wait time. Food wasn't overly tasty.
