    We arrived a bit early so we had some wonderful drinks before being seated in a nice booth with a view of the river/brook. Our server, Larry, was very personable and made great suggestions for our meal. We started with the crab stuffed mushrooms which were very tasty. Both of us ordered the Wolffish, which had a bit of a lobster texture. It was very good with a lemon cream sauce. The side was acorn squash (yum) and we added green beans and baked cinnamon apples. So good! For dessert, we shared the Mississippi mud pie with coffee ice cream, Oreo crust and fudge. What a wonderful meal and paced well. Larry is the best….ask for him!

    Consistently phenomenal meal. Service was impeccable, food is some of the best I’ve had in a good while. Not inexpensive but worth it. Arrive a little early to secure parking.

    My boyfriend and I celebrated our one-year anniversary at Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro, and we had such a wonderful experience! The food was delicious, and the service was excellent from start to finish. We ordered the pork chop, burnt ends pork belly, and a burger, along with a beer and a blackberry margarita, and everything made for a great dinner. The atmosphere was perfect for a special occasion, and we truly enjoyed our time together. It made our anniversary feel even more special, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We would absolutely recommend Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro to anyone looking for a great meal and a memorable dining experience. We look forward to coming back! — Five stars all the way! ❤️
