Rí Rá is located in an historic bank building, designed by Boston based Harper & West, that was completed in 1931. The pub opened for the first time in March 1999, and was extended in 2002 with the addition of the Library area. In February 2012, The Whiskey Room opened its doors. As you enter Rí Rá, you can imagine yourself walking through a door that leads you across the pond to experience the best pubs of Ireland. The pub interiors were salvaged and restored in Ireland prior to being shipped to Vermont. We are proud to showcase a unique and genuine Irish pub in the heart of Burlington.

    Last night of our two week family vacation. Final night of enjoying the great food and fabulous staff at the Lodge. Look forward to next summer. For those of you lucky enough to still be in the area, don’t pass up the green gazpacho soup and the chocolate mousse.

    This is one of the best meals I've had (anywhere) in years! Everything we had-- great cocktails and mocktails, foccacia with herb salted butter, house made pastas, cucumber salad ceasar and roasted vegetables appetizer--was incredibly delicious. The setting was lovely, and the service attentive and friendly. Portions were substantial, too, amazing for a restaurant of this quality. My (adult) daughter pronounced it "The Best Restaurant in VERMONT!"

    Go early before it fills up. A few great vegetarian items that are delicious. They have a few cocktails but none that I wanted so I had a mocktail which was great. Vegan crab cake is the best.
