I would recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to town! Best beef I’ve ever eaten. If you get lucky enough to have Barb as your server you will not be disappointed, she is very knowledgeable and also super sweet. Two thumbs up from beginning to end.

This was our first time dining at Teatro and from the moment we arrived it was impressive. The restaurant has captured the beauty of the original bank architecture and created a delightful ambiance with spacious placed tables and a reasonable noise level so many restaurants fail to achieve these days. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. We started with the caprese salad, which we both agreed was possibly the best we’d ever had. The colourful tomatoes, creamy buffalo mozzarella and fresh basil wore the light dressing perfectly! The calamari was perfectly crispy and the side sauce was plentiful and a nice change from the usual red sauce served at Italian restaurants. We had the saffron risotto and both felt it was slightly more el Dante than we prefer but the flavors were subtle and fresh and the cream on top was amazing. The strip loin steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare) and sliced atop an amazing puree and mushroom fricassee. The sauce was the highlight of our meal and the dish was a generous portion. Of course we had to end with tiramisu and it did not disappoint! It was light and creamy and they were kind enough to top it with white chocolate birthday wishes! This was a wonderful experience and we look forward to trying their weekend brunch one day soon.

We had cocktails and appetizers. Both were very nicely presented and equally as tasty. The kitchen accommodated my capsaicin allergy and the waiter was very conscientious about getting the order correct. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a special evening date night.

Made a reservation as we were heading to Werklund Theatre. Happy hour prices for food and drink. Perfect! Carter was very friendly and efficient. We enjoyed having him as our server. I would recommend Milestones on Stephen Avenue. The starters were delicious!
