This place was everything I would ask for. Went here for an anniversary dinner, hoping for a high class restaurant for a nice evening out with my girlfriend. We got a reservation day of, for 8pm, and it was only a 5 minute walk from our hotel in punta de zicatela. It immediately stood out when we arrived. Very classy and modern vibe, good music, and attentive staff. We were sat upstairs on the rooftop terrace, about 5 meters away from the DJ booth, who was playing excellent music. The food was amazing, our cocktails, appetizers, and maki rolls were all world class. Our waiter recommended a roll, which was better than any I had eaten before. Everything included, for two people came out to around $80 USD. An experience like this in the US would probably be around $200-300 USD. We will be back!

We had an excellent experience on Christmas eve with a special tasting menu as well as the regular menu. All the food was beautifully presented and delicious. The atmosphere is luxurious and the additional visit from the hotel's resident cats, though surprising, was quite sweet. It was a definite Mazunte experience, both incredibly upscale and relaxed at the same time.
