Sun Valley’s original restaurant, The Ram has been warming and welcoming diners since 1937. This rustic-yet-elegant dinner house has been recently modernized, while still preserving its historic charm. Pianist Larry Harshbarger brings a classic ambiance to the room with gentle melodies played on our resident baby grand piano. Travel back in time with the nightly “Heritage Menu”—a series of historic dishes such as pork tenderloin schnitzel, Hungarian goulash, and the famous Ram fondue—resurrected from the restaurant’s long and storied culinary tradition. A credit card is required to hold your reservation. Should your plans change, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Last minute cancellations and no shows may be charged $25 per person.Holiday reservations are not available online, but can be made by calling our guest center at 208.622.2800.

Possibly Sun Valley's most popular lunch spot. The Sun Valley Club is open for guests and the public for both indoor and outdoor seating. Outside, our wraparound terrace features stunning views of Bald Mountain, Dollar Mountain, and the Trail Creek Golf Course, creating a one-of-a-kind al fresco dining experience in the summer. Inside, the restaurant and bar are surrounded by glass walls and river rock. A lively spot to watch golf or football on four large-screen TV's. Open daily from 11am to 3pm. Come and enjoy the view!

Whether you are joining us for a relaxing lunch by the fireplace, or our signature 4-course prix-fixe dinner, Roundhouse offers the authentic charm of historic Sun Valley with a spectacular on-mountain dining experience. Reservations are recommended for lunch and required for dinner at Roundhouse this winter, including Averell's bar. Lunch reservations require the purchase of a ski lift ticket or foot traffic pass to access the restaurant. For dinner, the signature 4-course prix-fixe experience includes gondola transportation. Peak season dinner reservations require pre-payment and 10 days notice for cancellation. Lunch reservation no shows will be charged $25 per person.
