Lovely food but felt a little rushed, even though the restaurant was almost empty. Our main courses arrived before we’d finished our appetisers. Appetisers arrived SO fast after ordering. Our reservation was at 8pm and sadly we were the only diners after about the first half hour - so very quiet ambience. We’d visited this restaurant twice before at the same time of year and previously much busier - but maybe we were just a little late. Very good food though 😊

Red Trout and Mahi main entrees were excellent. The Oyster Stew was too salty and more of a soup than a stew. Monday night is half price off bottles of wine and they have a nice selection of wines. Michele is an excellent server and we enjoyed getting to know her. Nice cozy setting.

Food and service is always excellent. My wife had the special Putanesca which she loved. I had the shrimp but substituted tagliatelle instead of spaghetti. It was very good. Servers were attentive but not overbearing. It's one of our favorite restaurants, but we have to stay in a hotel as to it's to far to drive home. Wish they were in Savannah.

Chez Georges is a touch of Paris on Hilton Head Island. The decor is straight out of a Parisian cafe. They serve the best French onion soup and Bouillabaisse you’ll find anywhere. The full, eloquent bar is a welcome touch for drinks and light fare. Lunchtime is perfect for a quiet break from a hectic day. Dinner also highly recommended.

Carlton was our server last night, and I would just like to say that he is amazing! We are here visiting for my husband and I wedding anniversary. He built a rapport and continued to check in with us while our dinner was being cooked and was attentive to detail.
