The service was friendly and attentive from the moment we entered the restaurant. The interior is modern and clean. The food arrived promptly and was well presented. Portion sizes were appropriate and sufficient. The food tasted great although the brisket was a little bland compared to the ribs. The cauliflower and the Parmesan corn were particularly good and complemented the barbecued meats. We were too full to sample the desserts. Lychee cocktail impressed and was not too sweet. Overall a good meal but a little pricey perhaps. Our server Rob could not have been better.

Modern and smart decor and a contemporary small menu. There is also a bar and some tables there just for drinks. Everywhere was clean. Food was delicious and portion sizes were generous.

Wow - that has got to have been the best roast we've had in a long time. Jenny made us very welcome, was calm (considering how many covers they had in), professional, courteous and friendly. We had beef and pork, the potatoes were crispy, the Yorkshire was light and fluffy and one portion of cauliflower cheese was enough for the 3 of us (it was good enough to be a course on its own - yum yum). We all had the knicker boker glory and were not disappointed, full of fresh fruit, REAL cream (not that horrible plastic stuff out of a can!). All in all we would thoroughly recommend and will definitely be returning. 5 star.

The staff are attentive and service was friendly, relaxed and efficient. The dining room is relaxing, perfect venue for a long lunch. We had the tasting menu, which was reasonably priced given the quality and was not stuffy. Highlights were the parfait, scallop, monkfish and snickers. Drinks were also reasonably priced. Recommended.

The food was to a very high standard. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Did not wait long for drinks or food. The restaurant was spotlessly clean. Very pleased with our visit will definately book again
