The view is probably amazing but the dinner was mediocre with a very high price. Breakfast and lunch is probably totally different. The place itself looked great.
Enjoying the beautiful day with the best view in Laguna
Overall, food was of lower quality than expected, especially considering the price.
Classic restaurant with an unbeatable location and amazing view. Went for brunch and had a nice meal and enjoyed amazing views and people watching from a choice window-seat. Good food and drinks, but be careful as you order your brunch beverages... Margartias and Mimosas are bottomless... the other four drinks featured and highlighted on the menu appear to be in the "bottomless section" but are not bottomless... nor is there much alcohol in them. We each had three drinks and didn't feel any effects... other than the $90 bar tab to go along with the $45 per person brunch. Will go again, but won't have any watered down drinks.
We always come here for the view, the service, and the food. This was a great way to top off the Thanksgiving Day weekend.
For my sons 18th birthday dinner, I made a reservation and was surprised there were many open spots. However I am not surprised now. They changed the menu and the food was very disappointing. The price was still steep. We had a gluten free guest with us and while our food server confirmed that the mole sauce gluten sauce was gluten free it wasn’t. After 20 minutes he came back to inform us the sauce indeed wasn’t gluten free.
Our party of 7 were seated at a round table and the top of some of our heads were touched by food servers walking by with food trays. We were squished like sardines in a space that was too small for the table.
We have been a huge fan of Las Brisas and have had many many special group dinners there but I’m afraid we will not be going back.
Visiting from the East Coast. Wanted a great lunch experience in Laguna. Our son chose the venue. Being a pescatarian, I was in heaven! Excellent choices.....poke, oysters, halibut, scallops, seared tuna. Our server Nick was awesome. The English gentleman host was a hoot! The wine list was exceptional. The view from our table was outstanding!
A wonderful restaurant with the best view of Laguna Beach. Delicious food for Saturday brunch. Great service
The brunch prifixe menu was great
well, if we weren't sat next to a bunch (6) of screaming 5 year olds, it would have been perfect. For the price of this restaurant, I would expect more consideration and to set the kids elsewhere. Oh well... lesson learned.
The Thanksgiving coursed meal was lovely. The only major complaint is that the restaurant was freezing cold. Not sure if they don't have a heater or they had shut it off since it was an hour to closing. Especially since it was Thanksgiving, it was kind of a bummer to have to sit there with our jackets on.
Our favorite restaurant in the USA. Thanksgiving menu was to die for, as usual.
Wonderful Thanksgiving meal shared with friends. Food was superb. We would recommend it highly for anyone.
Excellent Customer Service and a very impressive meal!
The Server was great however the buffer meal was confusing on optional pricing was more than just $45
Way over priced. Total for 2 for lunch was $95. I was still hungry after we left. We had a nice view is about the only good thing I can sadly say.
It was my second time there and it was just enjoyable as my first, so I will be there again in the near future.
Honestly I really didn't enjoy it very much. However, I might have picked the wrong dishes so I don't hold that against them. My GF really enjoyed the food but mine just didn't hit the mark. Dessert was great and the service was fantastic. Really enjoyed the evening overall but my food was .... The weather was terrible in Laguna so certainly they have no control over that. The view is suppose to be really nice. Check it out but stay away from the lobster tails.
The service was horrible and the pre-fixed brunch was small, dull, and tasteless. Complained to the manager and he was dismissive.
Food way overpriced- very empty inside.
Perfect! We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience!
It was a preset brunch.
The food selection was limited.
The food was mediocre in taste.
I used to go to this restaurant and it has gone down the hill. Maybe ok for tourists but not for locals.
To celebrate the birthday
The setting is wonderful. The food was very good- but WAY overpriced! A limited menu as well- needing more small plates- but not charging $20-30 for them.We will probably not come back.
Maria- our waitress- was WONDERFUL!
Waiter was a snob. I’d eaten there a few months ago and it was great. Has gone down hill. They don’t give you bread or chips. Servings are very small. Mine was appetizer size. Way over priced for what you get. They asked if we were celebrating a special occasion and I said my birthday. That was the end of it. Really crappy experience evening. Don’t go
Very odd billing system. We were there with three colleagues that needed sperate bills for expence purposes. This was not easily done at this restaurant for some reason.
Beautiful views sitting by the window of this beach side restaurant was worth the splurge. I had the shrimp tampiqueños and it had a great flavor with a little spice to it! The shrimps were big and succulent. My friend enjoyed her salmon dish as well. The cheesecake was also very decadent! Great finish to our meals.
Overpriced, $22 for a Martini is not the way to get people back.
Unlike times past restaurant was empty.
The view is stunning, the menu is delightful and the service is impeccable.
Birthday lunch for the daughter with the wife, good food, margaritas, nice view.
Awesome food, drinks, service and view! Los Brisas never disappoints.
The food is delish, the view is breathtaking, the service..... felt rushed, for brunch I was so rushed that I was done in 35 min. 35 min for brunch for 7 people, $450? Thats $12.8 a minute. The servers were all over the place, they thought they were knowledgeable , however, they took the order twice, then came again to take the order since they lost their paper, then stood on top of me as I was paying asking for the tip. Not professional at all. Retrain, and I will reconsider to visit again.
Great service and ambiance. Food was excellent and chips and guacamole were almost worth the price. Cocktails were so-so. Overall, a very nice experience, although it feels a bit overpriced. Would definitely return though.
We love the great view. We were with a dog and were seated in the patio. We had to order from a shortened patio menu, but everything was beautiful.
We sat on the patio enjoying perfect weather and a beautiful view. The Carne Asada Tacos were fantastic!
This restaurant has an amazing view. We had lunch reservations on a Saturday afternoon. I was really looking forward to the grilled lobster only to find out that they have a set brunch menu on the weekends. The options available are good but I think the set price is very misleading. In short, any of the worthy options are extra. With that said, we did try the lobster benedict and it was a great option.
The views and the service we had made up for the limited options. The waiter was so attentive and made sure that bottomless mimosa (also an extra charge) was constantly full.
For two adults and two kids we ended up with a bill just shy of $200 (including tip). More than you would expect to pay for the meal we had (chilaquiles, lobster benedict, two kids meals) but again, you're paying for the view which is breathtaking.
arrived and found that inside it is only brunch on weekends. they took care of us and we moved to the patio. great view, good food and great service
So excellent!! Fish tacos the best and presentation.
Food was VERY expensive and nothing special.
First time here. I'm a tourist. Food was good. One very frustrating thing . . . I made reservations on OpenTable after looking at the menu and restaurant online. It looked super. When I came to the hostess desk I told her I had a reservation. She asked if I wanted patio or inside. I was seated outside which was nice. The menu I was given by her seemed skimpy and not like what I remembered from the web but things were busy and I went ahead and ordered. Shortly after I hear a waitress for a table next to me ask if they want to see the other menu. I was never told of another menu or that it was an option. They said if I had been here before I would have known about it! (As a tourist coming to Laguna Beach for the first time I don't know how I'd know that)! I was then told "we are 2 different restaurants with 2 kitchens" even though they are both called Las Brisas (as far as I could tell). So, my experience was not like what I anticipated from the web. It was disappointing that they didn't understand why I was even concerned about this. The manager was not helpful. It sure seems that the hostess needs to inform people of this unusual way have having 2 restaurants by coming in the same door with two different things happening.
