Nice evening food was delicious however we thought our server could of been a little more attentive to our needs throughout the evening.
LOVE this place. The food is always flavorful and delicious, great service, and the owner (George) is always there to ensure that the experience is truly memorable.
The menu is a bit exotic. Our group enjoyed the various offerings. Waitress was excellent, and helpful. The owner stopped by briefly, which we enjoyed. Le George is one of our favorite restaurants in the area.
Outstanding food, service, location and George is the BEST!!
I took my friend to Le George for lunch to celebrate her birthday. We had a seat in the front window which was lovely. George was so friendly and come to chat with us. He has a way of making you feel at home in his restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We tried several new items to us and loved them all. I will be going back very soon. Thank you to our server that day, she was very pleasant. This is a great place to enjoy Mediterranean food with excellent drink menu!
Great place to get together for dinner. Freshly prepared food and friendly service with a smile. Always willing to accommodate. Delicious tabouleh, salads potato cakes and entrees.
Maybe worst service in the last 10 years of dining out.
The best kept secret in northville. The food is outstanding and so is the service!
Excellent, healthy food. Lebanese wines were delicious.
Our dinner was very tasty. However, the length of time we were there was quite long—2 hours. If the time could be cut back, it would be appreciated. Thank you. It’s always good to see George taking an interest in his customers.
Shelby is among the most pleasant servers we have ever encountered. I like the unique food offerings with the Lebanese touch of owner George. We feel very welcome at Le George and the food and drink is top notch.
Very good, as usual.
Great food, authentic and delicious! If the weather is good, sit on the patio!
As usual the food was wonderful and homemade! It shows! Wonderful half price bottles on Wednesday, usually that day.
The food was great, location in northville was wonderful. We had seats at window on the street, so people watching was fantastic. The majority of the low score was due to the service. They are upfront about creating all food to order, so there would be a delay. We understood this and expected it. However, our server was missing in action most of the meal. We had an early dinner, so there were only us and one other table. Yet, our drinks went empty, water glasses not filled, finished appetizer plates sitting on the table for 15+ minutes. Our second order of drinks were never brought out until we asked for third time. We asked what one of the special desserts was and server told us, walked away without asking if we wanted dessert. She then brought the bill as if she wanted us out. Very disappointing. The food was good enough we will try it again. Hopefully the server was having a bad night.
Le George is one of the best restaurants in Northville. The food the ambience the service is all 5 star quality.
‘‘Twas an OK experience. None of us were BLOWN away by food. Everything was just good enuf...
And we were not worthy enuf of a visit by Mr. George - though based on reviews it appears he visits every table 😏
This was our first time to Le George...we went because they're in Delta SkyMiles Dining. What a WONDERFUL experience! We ate outside on a Wednesday evening...we could hear the live music from the nearby square and, unlike many other patio dining locations, the street noise wasn't disturbing. The food was great. The owner himself was attentive. Plus half-off bottles of wine on Wed. I'll be back.
Always nice to have the owner stop by the table and say hello!
Outdoor seating was fantastic! Great food and service
Food is very good. Portions are fairly small. Service is very inconsistent, this time it was bad.
George the owner comes out to see every table and his food is outstanding. Every time I come to town I take one of my best clients here and they have not disappointed once.
Food was very good, though portions could have been larger.
We came for Mother’s Day and everything was perfect. Great wine & amazing food! Our table tried a bit of everything on the menu & everyone loved their meal. Excellent service. It was a lovely experience & we will definitely be back soon. Also- lots of vegetarian & vegan options!
As always, great food, friendly staff, present and attentive owner.
This was my first time at Le George and I requested a table or booth near the wall. There are many booths but we were given the “VIP” booth which is semi-private. It was absolutely perfect for our mini-party. The owner personally greeted us and made sure that everything was perfect. We had a bottle of rosé champagne that was delicious and served at the correct temperature which many places don’t quite get right. Our meal was outstanding! We had the “Vegetarian Menu” and à side of the garlic mousse. And of course hot out of the oven bread. Everything was fresh and exquisitely prepared. Delicious, refined, well-presented. The portions are absolutely ideal. I would always rather have a “European portion” of delectable and nuanced food than an”American portion” of bland food that is “brought to life” by the addition of too much salt. Quality over quantity! But even with more reasonable portion sizes we couldn’t finish everything and, in fact, my friend left with a carry-out container with enough for both her mother and her to eat for lunch the next day. I called my husband on my way home and told him that I want to go back with him! It was just a wonderful evening and I highly recommend Le George.
Wonderful food and so fresh!
Sunday night, quiet and efficient. Food was a bit out of the ordinary but very good. Owner came over to inquire about our satisfaction. The value was well worth the visit
Seriously the worst overall dining experience EVER!!! The food was mediocre, the service was absolutely AWFUL! Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time or money at this place! We ordered the combo for 4 and they missed items on it and made it seem like it was our fault that they just got new menus today and their kitchen staff doesn’t know what the new items are. Not once did we get an apology or even had someone come and check up on us! Just do yourself a favor and stay AWAY!
Oh Le George. On the positive side, the baba ganoush and chicken were very tasty. Everything else left quite a bit to be desired. I wish I had read other reviews before going here. The hummus and lentil soup were the blandest things I've ever tasted. The servings are also ridiculously small - even my glass of wine was the smallest pour I've ever received. The staff were lovely, but you can tell that management runs a very thrifty operation. There are much better restaurants where you will be a better experience for your money in Northville.
Food came out very slowly, service was slow, and the food was just okay for the price.
My husband had the ratatouille, which was amazing. He doesn’t even like eggplant, just tried it because he felt like something different, and his plate was so clean when he finished, I couldn’t believe it. I had a taste and also was amazed- so good!
The owner is always there to greet us, super friendly staff, great Mediterranean food, caters to allergies a plus!
It is in a beautiful location. Great to walk around. For the prices generally in other Lebanese or middle eastern restaurants, the portion sizes are much larger. The food itself was tasty. We enjoyed the experience.
had their Koosa just awesome!
Attentive service, a little slow in expediting simple appetizers. The Lebanese grilled foods are beautifully and tastily rendered. We return often.
Portions where small, service was slow, meat filet shish kabobs was tuff. The shawarma appetizer was small and chicken well done. Also like two tablespoons of chicken for 14$. Not going back.
We didn't know there was an event in town, but we were seated promptly , outside as requseted. Tight seating out there, very close to other table. Waitress was ditzy, took a lot of time to get drinks, and ordered right then. Ordered the hummus, she brought bread right out but the hummus took a long time to be prepped. ( hummus?) . Salads were perfunctory.
Our friends food was good, and they seemed pleased. My chicken artichoke dish was overcooked. ( My wine was good but it was only like 4 oz it seemed). Maybe they were slammed and had staffing issues, but it was off enough that we wont be back.
Le George is a jewel amongst the many downtown Northville eateries. The service is attentive and the food quality is top shelf. It is always my first choice when dining in the area.
