Sauted shrimp with bistro secret spices A Must!
This is a wonderful restaurant. All of the food is soooooo tasty. Wonderful salads, appetizers and entrees. The filet mignon was spectacular. Our waiter was very helpful. Wonderful!!!
Always great food & service. A neighborhood gem. Highly recommended.
We were mid-week, and had a delightful evening (French with a bit of Italian and Belgian). Service was quite accommodating and attentive. Ambiance typical European, low-key, and possible to truly enjoy the meal and evening with not pressure to hurry the meal. José, the responsible head waiter, maître d'hôtel, was clearly on top of things. Recommended and to go back to.
Everything was perfect and we were very happy. We had a wonderful meal and the waiter was very responsive.
Always good, always consistent, great value for money. Very frequent customer.
I love the food here, but they really should have some music playing softly. Nothing worse than dead silence.
Awesome restaurant... great food!
There a very French ambiance and the service is excellent and very pleasant. The food is always delicious.
Duck was over done. Dry and not flavorful at all
Had a great time spending my birthday with my friends. I just wished the table they gave us wasn’t in the corner and we felt so crammed in. Food was delicious but was disappointed with the chocolate soufflé. I guess u hyped it in my head haha but over all a great experience. Must try!
The food is amazing but the service can be slow as they waitress would disappear most of the time and we constantly had to flag down the waitress or other service staff. They do get very busy and I would go back for sure yet hope the service improves.
A neighborhood gem. Small restaurant and no surprise as it is in the name, after all. So if you like tables far apart, this isn't the place. We got there very early practically when it opened, and in just over an hour it was absolutely packed. I highly recommend a reservation because as the maitre 'd said, "we aren't taking walk-ins anymore" - I think that is also because a favorite restaurant very close, perhaps a block away, closed. Bizou. Back to Le Petit. I had whitefish. It was served beautifully. I asked for no butter in the lemon, caper, butter sauce and they graciously accommodated me by using olive oil and it was delicious with the lemon juice and capers. My husband had the blackened salmon and it was served on a nice salad. I had a cesar salad and it was especially good. Sorry we didn't have time to try the chocolate souffle! Valet parking only.
We were celebrating a birthday. Food and wine were delicious. The service excellent. Sitting next to us was a WWII vet wearing his uniform and Silver Star celebrating his 101st birthday. His waitress interrupted everyone’s meal to announce his presence and the entire restaurant sang “happy birthday”! It made for a very special evening!
Excellent French food, generous cocktails, fine service
Good food and service.
Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the food at Le Petit. We started with Ceasar salad and it was OK, but nothing special. I had the Crispy Duck for my entree and my wife had the Filet Mignon. My wife said the Filet was good but could have used more peppercorn sauce, my duck was not crispy enough and was fairly tough. We split a Creme Brulee for dessert which was pretty good. I like the ambiance and the service - I just expected the food to be better than what it was. Sorry, but I'm just being honest with my opinion.
Valentine's Day Dinner with wife was nice: Crispy Duck & Seafood Paella were very good. Was very disappointed that they did not have their chocolate souffle. Their bread pudding was horrid! Looked like a block of spam (& tasted like bread aggregate!)!!
This is cute little French restaurant with great food and great service. We had the Salmon, Rib eye and lobster crepe. All amazing and very delicious. Also had the angel hair and red sauce and I have to say honestly it was one of the best I have ever had. I definitely recommend this place. It's cozy and small so might be harder for larger parties.
Food and service was great but the room was so loud.
Le Petit is always the best. It’s like coming home for dinner every time we go. Jae and his staff are wonderful.
The food is always top notch and reasonably priced. The service however is troubling. You have to wait forever to have your course plates cleared before the entree comes. The waiter takes your order and occasionally pours the wine. We know the issues and deal with it because it’s one of our “go to” restaurants on the Boulevard.
The service was okay, although it was difficult at times to find a waiter. The biggest issue was the steak that my wife ordered. It was basically inedible. Tough would be an understatement. When she did tell the waiter, he took it back and she ordered something else. We (me and another couple) were practically finished with our dinner by the time her replacement (salmon) arrived. Rather than receive any kind of a verbal apology, or the offer to comp her meal, the issue basically ignored. Very disappointing for a high-end restaurant. Not sure if we'll return, but if we do, I hope they will treat a serious issue with more than just saying "can we get you something else".
Always good, consistent and reasonable. Best menu in the Valley. I'm a regular, with friends and family.
One of the best restaurants in the valley! Recommend for all occasions.
We always enjoy Le Petit which is why we go so often
Me like good food. Good food given here. Food is good. Life is good.
The best classic french food in the valley. Great service and very French ambiance. They really know how to prepare duck which is my favorite. It's wonderfully old fashioned.
The food and service are superb every time we visit.
Steak was good. Duck was very dry (for the 2nd time), and the beef bourguignon didn’t look or taste very good. Tuna Tartar was just okay as was the caprese salad. Chocolate soufflé was delicious.
Well, the eggplant tart was devine. The onion soup was good. The waiter's cologne was enough to gas me out of the restaurant. I have perfume sensitivity, but the waiter was nose blind and was so strong, that cologne was all I could taste for a bit. I hurried out. So that is the drawback for the restaurant.
Delicious food, professional staff, and lovely ambiance. Recommend this restaurant.
We had a fine dinner here. I especially liked the lobster crepes and our Grand Marnier Souffle for dessert. Professional service, nice ambiance, and we hope to return soon.
We love this restaurant because it is consistently good. No matter what we order, it is delicious - cooked properly - and plated beautifully. The duck, the potato crusted salmon and the scallops are a few of our favorites, along with the onion soup, lobster bisque and pumpkin ravioli.
Charming classic French bistro restaurant with very good food. Seating is a bit tight and the restaurant is loud but is a personal family favorite. It's like being in Paris.
Staff was friendly and accomodating. Food was quite good. It was Saturday (6:30pm seating) and the room was HOT and LOUD. We were in a corner table and my husband and I were hoarse by the end of the evening for trying to talk with our friends across the table! Will go on a weekday next time!
Le Petit is always a great place to eat a good meal in a pleasant atmosphere. That's why I return often
Best French Fries bar None.
Another wonderful experience at Le Petit. The place ROCKED on New Year's Eve. Give this place a try. I believe that if you do, you will not be disappointed.
Le Petit was amazing. We went for New Years and it was a great celebration. The food is fantastic and actually very reasonably priced compared to most French Restaurants I’ve been to. I had the lamb chops and they were perfectly cooked.
