We had a really nice time, the food was excellent. We will definitely go back
I drive two hours each way to treat myself to Sunday brunch at Le Yaca. It is worth the trip. Everything is first class. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this Williamsburg restaurant. Totally French, totally delicious.
Food is just fantastic. Every time I have been here it has been a great experience!
This was our first visit to Le Yaca, which was for my wife’s birthday. Immediately upon entering we were greeted by friendly staff and an atmosphere of elegance. Once we provided our name, my wife was promptly wished a happy birthday. We were shown to our table in a beautiful dining room and seated next to a fireplace. Our waiter was amazing and provided us with excellent recommendations, which we greatly appreciated as it was our first visit. We elected to order the Chefs Tasting Menu. Every course was presented exquisitely, prepared perfectly and was absolutely delicious. The greatest part of our experience (for me) was the timing of the meal. We were not rushed during any course. The timing was impeccable. We will certainly return many times during the coming years and hope to introduce many of our friends and family to this wondrous jewel!!!!!
Great French food and environment . Enjoyed our meal every time we go.
Outstanding food and service
Le Yaca was the perfect restaurant choice to celebrate my husband's birthday. Everything was 5 starts all around!
Same time this year. Met lifelong friends for our annual French lunch at Le Yaca. It was peaceful, intimate, delicious, and safe. We sat on the terrace, plenty of distance from others, and with the aide of their portable heating, passed a splendid afternoon. Seafood selections were flavorful and light, salads and veggies the perfect accompaniment, dessert again light but satisfyingly decadent. The place to go when you have the time to really enjoy the cuisine, food paired with culture.
Fantastic meal. The staff took excellent care of us. We enjoyed the Wednesday night burger special with soup and a glass of wine. We will be back many times.
Le Yaca has always been the premier restaurant in Williamsburg and continues to be so. An excellent placwe in every regard.
New to Williamsburg and in search of an extra-nice experience for my wife/partner's 60bday. Le Yaca came recommended, it was a Tuesday, but rather brisk out to eat during these risky times.
Was a large place, with lovely interiors and patio. We were offered the first large room with a fireplace to ourselves(!), so we ate inside for the first time since March.
We decided on the 5course Chef tasting menu, and my wife had the pairings..so inexpensive I thought. First was a Seafood Duo, then Foie/Breast, Intermezzo, then Gormand Trio of Meats, finished by Symphony of Desserts. Exsquisite.
I will/would gladly return within the month to have the same meal again.
Our server and his crew were impeccable, and we maintained proper covid protocol throughout the evening. We have been immensely cautious, related that to all staff, and appreciated they did so as well.
I feel genuinely blessed to have this establishment within the Orbit of our new Home.
Delicious food and great service. I definitely will recommend it to my friends
La Yaca's Sunday Brunch, fixed price menu is one of the best deals around, especially considering how outstanding the food is, the wide selection of drinks and food. My wife and I consider La Yaca to be our favorite restaurant destination, which is why we selected them to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary. When they seated us at a romantic table in front of the fireplace, that just capped off a perfect experience!
Great food . All servers were pleasant and restaurant was very clean.
Food, service, ambience, and owner were all fantastic. We can’t wait to come back!
Our server was great - friendly, knowledgeable, on top of it. The food was fabulous, everything prepared perfectly. Prices very reasonable considering the quality of food and atmosphere.
I took my wife there for her birthday and Le Yaca did not disappoint. The food was wonderful on the 3 course menu and was a really good value for the price. Our server Charles was attentive and paced things well.
My wife and I love this place, and look forward to going back. The food and staff are awesome.
We had the tasting menu with the Dover sole. It was outstanding. Preparation was spot on, portion size over generous . The wine pairings were excellent. We shall be returning
The $37 Prix Fixed menu was more than enough food. My husband had the special of the night of flounder with scallops which he loved and raved about. I had the Boeuf et Crevettes which included Beef Tenderloin* Cognac Peppercorn Demi glaze and Seared Shrimp, Risotto with a Champagne Saffron Sauce. Absolutely delicious. It was a lot of food and I had to request a box to go. For dessert I had the Tarte Fine aux Pommes - Baked Thin Puff Pastry, Thinly Sliced Apples, Vanilla Ice Cream and my husband had the Fondant au Chocolat -Warm Chocolate Cake, Vanilla Ice Cream, Candied Hazelnuts. Both were delicious, but be warn the Fondant au Choclat is decadent, lol. This was our first time at Le Yaca and it definitely will not be our last. Definitely looking forward to the next dinner.
Consistently fantastic food (amazing escargot), wonderful friendly service and comfortable environment. My favorite restaurant.
It was a birthday dinner for my wife. Host wished happy birthday. No other recognition throughout the night.
Our meal at Le Yaca was delicious. Our steaks were perfectly done, and the crab cake was the best crab cake that I have ever had. I definitely recommend Le Yaca, and I will return.
The food was fantastic. There was nothing that wasn't excellent that we ate. The only complaint we had is that the food came out very quickly, as if you were at a fast food restaurant. Also, one in are party order two starters (a soup and a salad) which were brought in succession. However, the entrees for the other parties arrived prior to the one person finishing his soup and salad and his entree was also placed next to him. That was awkward and not in keeping with service standards for a restaurant of this caliber.
Not too loud, very well social distanced. The service and ambiance were amazing. The manager came over several times and I felt very welcomed. The food was exactly what I'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber, and honestly the soup of the day was a huge stand out.
Always an excellent place for a special occasion, great food, and service. In these pandemic times, they follow protocols.
Since we were over the age of 70, we ate outside on the patio. Everything was perfect.
In short...we were looking forward to a wonderful lunch after all in these times going out...we have been customers in Va.B., we live in Norfolk and had business in Williamsburg and wanted to try the "main"....
We were led to a nice table, and sitting down we realized it was VERY fresh...we told our waiter 3 times that we were cold....I finally put my winter coat around me , it was outside 49F...inside ??? we learned that there was a problem with the circuit ..but the "parole" was "we get through it????? We sat in the "Wintergarten"? Yes, that is how it felt. Finally someone opened the doors to the main room where a fire place was to get some heat in...
Soup was warm but didn't "heat" us as we hoped and we ate through our food und left as soon as possible.
Going to the restroom we realized, that there were MUCH warmer areas, but we were put on "Ice"...you try to enjoy a good meal, when your are cold and have ice cold feet....we try to be healthy through the pandemic and then we might catch a cold eating in a "star-restaurant?"
Do we want to come again: No, thank you. That was our first try there.
Sorry, I can't give a better review....

Awesome food and service. Always a great experience.
Everything was delightful, from service, to food quality, and ambiance. Also the chairs are very comfortable. We ordered the filet de bouf from the prix fixe menu and it was cooked to perfection and seasoned wonderfully. The Marquise au Chocolat was to die for! The food is a little on the pricey side but well worth the experience for special occasions! Will certainly be back for the next special occasion!
I loved nice place very good food...nice waitress
Amazing French food in a nice atmosphere.
New Year’s Eve dinner at Le Yaca was outstanding. One of the best New Years Eve menu we have had at Le Yaca.
The special New Years Eve Menu of $100 pp was in my opinion over priced for the good received. My wife’s lobster tails came in a fish smothered in so much cheese that it ruined the dish.
outstanding! It was better than ewe expected. glad we read about it on tripadvisor
Don't often a have during the week to visit for lunch or brunch, but we took advantage pf the Holiday to stop in for a visit.. All was great and the place was busy! Minn did a wonderful job caring for us was a great time. deb and Bill Schmidt, Wsmburg
A favorite place of ours for years. Three course lunch or Sunday brunch is a bargain for the food quality. Great ambience and usually top notch service. Highly recommended.
Delicious food! Not one single bad thing to say.
Amazing food and ambiance! Love this restaurant!
The food is always outstanding. The ambiance is stylish and evokes a feeling of class. The service is prompt and the servers are pleasant. A great couples night out.
