We love Leo's!!!
One thing that I noticed is the antipasto, very skimpy on the meats
and cheese loaded with carrots! Didn't like that so much, figured
maybe you were cutting back, I truly hope not that is one thing
we LOVE here, the best antipasto around!
We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here back in 1994,
again, proof, we LOVE Leo's!
It was an overall good experience. Enjoyable for all
We have not dined out much during this pandemic, however we trust all that Leos is doing to ensure all protocols are being followed. Was an excellent meal, service was terrific. We will continue to support this establishment.
First visit to this place. Based on previous reviews we can attest to the food. Our waitresses recommendations were spot on.
A bit tough finding the place and figuring where to park. but the parking out back was plentiful with a separate entrance into the building.
We will surely be back to try some of the other menu items we saw coming out of the kitchen. A1 all around.
With all the restaurants on shewsbury st in Worcester, Leo’s is a go to place for Italian food. The parking is plentiful and the wait time is low. I’ve been going there for many years and have never had a bad meal or experience
I loved Leo’s so much. We went for a date night and I felt safe there during these COVID times. Service was impeccable and the food was divine!
One of our old favorites. The food is consistently good and the service is impeccable. The owners are very friendly and we are treated like family.
A wonderful dinner with conscientious service. Care taken around Covid-19.
Fabulous waitress with an abundance of patience as we were waiting for some to show up ( they were late) and she was just fabulous. Food was absolutely delicious!!! Great ambiance as well.
We live forty minutes away but still try to make it here at least twice a year. Recent visit was great. Staff always pleasant. Have never had a bad meal. Great place for Italian food.
As always, great food and excellent service at Leo’s!
Times have changed! Just not the same!
The food is really really good. The service is great too
The restaurant did an excellent job in light of Covid 19. All protocols were in place; ensured social distancing & waitress was excellent.
. Our “go to” restaurant, we know we’ll get great food & great service. Leo’s makes you feel like family
Fabulous food, atmosphere and cocktails. Service was great!
Food was great and service was awesome. We will be back! Next time we won’t eat any bread and maybe skip the appetizer, only because the entrees were so large.
Leo's is dependably excellent. The food is delicious. The menu is extensive. The ambiance is pleasant and exudes relaxed elegance. Service is attentive and professional.
Waitress was awful, food was sent back. Will not return.
If you’re looking for solid, traditional Italian American favorites, Leo’s is your place. Delicious every time!
Always a great night out with friendly service and great food!
Leo's is ALWAYS great! We went tonight for my husband's birthday and Lee and our waitress helped me pull off the birthday surpruse.
Another really good experience at Leo's. Nice atmosphere and decor, good service, and old world Italian food. You can never go wrong here.
Was average.. all the menu items you’d expect at an Italian food place but food is just average. There are better options for the price.
Service, food, and atmosphere was fantastic! It was a bit noisier than usual, but it was Valentines Day and very busy, so that was to be expected. We'll definitely be back, love Leo's!
Delicious food, wonderful service. Had veal piccata and risotto.
Our younger waitress was the cutest and so attentive! Loved her! The food was amazing. We got the sausage Rangoon’s and I got chicken and spinach tortellini Alfredo which was unbelievable! My husband got the chicken parm and meatballs which was on point! Pricey but great!
Excellent traditional Italian food! Nice quiet atmosphere. Right near downtown. A great place!
Went to Leo's Sunday night before a show at the Hanover, with my husband and 2 children, it was quiet and we got a seat by the fire. Server was attentive and spot on. The Eggplant Parm was excellent, my daughters Chicken was very tender. My son had Marsala which was also very good. My husband had a pasta dish that was good. Overall experience was so good, loved that it was a bit quieter. Perfect place on a Sunday.
There were 8 of us & we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Service was exceptional & the food was terrific. One of our favorite places to dine.
A longstanding tradition of excellent Italian food and service.
Great food and a great romantic atmosphere
Leo's is one of our favorite restaurants we go to fairly often. Food and service are always great. The antipasto salad and garlic bread as appetizers are easily the best around. The entrees are always large and terrific and prices are very reasonable. Their Veal Alberto is one of my favorite meals at any restaurant.
Always a good Meal at Leo’s . Portions were huge and everyone had a take home box. It was my sons birthday and they sent out his bomba split with a candle in the middle , nice touch and I wasn’t even requested. I am picky about where I eat in the winter and this place has a nice fireplace going to make it comfy! Oh ya the food especially their sauces are off the hook!
Service was excellent. Had visitor from Hawaii who wanted great Italian food. She stated, this was awesome. My wife and I loved it.
Always a good meal!
Awesome service at our party of nine, only one waitress, (Sheree), who did it ALL effortlessly with patience and kindness the entire time. Food was excellent, our table was ready as promised and they welcomed and served our special occasion cake we brought in for dessert. Classy, down to earth food, service and friendly staff. It's our first choice always!
I was so disappointed tonight when I ate at Leo’s. One of my friends and I ordered the same dish -Chicken Spinazola - which was recommended by our waitress. It had absolutely no flavor. The chicken was tasteless and the creamy sauce was so bland. The only flavor from the meal came when I bit into a whole clove of garlic that was hardly cooked. won’t be going back.
Leo’s was full of diners on Saturday evening, and I mean FULL, including the bar and a large group in a side dining room. In spite of the crowds the service was terrific and my waitress, Julie, was cheerful and attentive. Amazingly, a steady stream of plates full of delicious looking entree’s were delivered to guests at tables within my view. Clearly Leo’s is a well-run kitchen and has an experienced staff. My dinner, veal scallopini, was outstanding. I look forward to returning soon.
My family and I dined at Leo’s Ristorante Sunday evening, November 17. We arrived and were graciously greeted and promptly sat at our requested table by the Fireplace (a gesture we all much appreciated). We have dined at Leo’s before but they do not know us. Everything seemed to be going according to plan and according to our past experiences. This is where everything started to take an abysmal turn for the worse.
Our Server was Andrea. She took our drink order and inquired if we were ready to order. She seemed rushed and we told her we’d like to get our cocktails and order in a bit. When she returned with our drinks she again wanted to take our order. We repeated our request and she left and said she would bring us some bread. Andrea was very sullen, unfriendly and very inattentive. Some highlights:
0.It took easily 20 minutes to receive our bread which was brought to us by another Server. We had long finished the cocktails at this point.
0.It was then that we decided to order everything, including our bottle of wine because the timetable was becoming troublesome.
0.The salads finally arrived in about 15 minutes and no wine yet. We asked more than once for the wine and when we finally received it we were done with our salads.
0.Wine service was astonishingly slow and unprofessional.
0.The entrees arrived (delicious as expected) about 40 minutes after we got the wine. The table was full of dirty plates and we had drank half the wine already.
0.We finished, boxed our leftovers and Andrea promptly presented us with our bill (never asking if we wanted anything else). I asked her for two Espresso’s, she was not happy. What we got was unbelievable- lukewarm coffee in Espresso cups!
In closing, when we finally left Leo’s this whole debacle had lasted a staggering 3 hours!
This was a most unpleasant and discouraging experience.
