Fantastic food, great drinks but pricey and relatively small portions. Definitely top-notch food quality but prices inadequate to ambiance and location.

Handled Covid restrictions well. We are outside, well spaced and both we and waiters kept our masks on. Excellent food and service.

Everything at Libertad is amazing. The service, the food, and the drinks are outstanding. Even during these unconventional times, Libertad does an amazing job of keeping everyone safe.

Went for brunch- food was excellent. Outdoor patio was terrific - ventilated yet heaters did a great job and you could take off your coat. Very comfortable. A great spot to dine out, even during COVID winter!

We were seated at the patio and its warm! I was skeptical to go because other outdoor patios are cold. This place kept the area warm. The server who i think was the only server that night did a great job in serving everyone. Food was good. A little pricey tho. I recommended this place overall

The patio was covered and super warm which I appreciated. We were the only ones on Sunday afternoon. We had the guacamole mild which was perfect, the steak and eggs and the burrito. All was super good - our server Jenny was super helpful and friendly. The place was clean and we definitely coming back.

Libertad has set up a heated tent to provide safe dining while following state Covid regulations. We were very comfortable and felt very safe while enjoying a fantastic dinner. The food and cocktails were delicious and the service was great. We will definitely be back during Covid-19 state dining regulations, and look forward to eating inside the restaurant soon too!

Heated patio was nice even in January. Food, drinks and service were excellent. Prices were a little high . But considering the pandemic you can understand why prices are higher.

Covid protocols were really great, felt so safe. Outdoor seating on patio with heaters was really warm and well done. The food and service was exceptional.

The short ribs were fabulous, as was the sauce and pasta. Everyone also loved the black cod and the risotto. The service was friendly and attentive, and it made for a delightful evening.

It’s not my first time to be in this place, I have dined here a couple of times with friends; my friend who I was with for dinner had been to this place too. I always find the food outstanding. We ordered 3 plates. We had the Col Rizado which was Kale salad with hazelnuts, feta cheese, etc. We both loved it, the dressing was light & the cheese was just a few crumbles, not overpowering. We also had the Jumbo shrimp & Tuna, I loved how the shrimps were grilled perfectly & the fish was cooked just right, raw in the middle. And both dishes were well balanced, with greens & sauce. We had the Chocolate for dessert, it was not too sweet specially the ice cream in the middle.
We just felt our server was rushing us to order right away. We were still going over the menu, (we were aware that they change it every so often) & she probably came by our table several times to ask if we were ready. My guy friend was actually irked but the food eased him up.
Overall, I would still go back for the food.

Too noisy to be comfortable. Next time we'll have to be there earlier on a Saturday night. Food excellent as usual, except veal and asada were a bit tough.

We had a reservation for Valentine's day, our server was excellent, hosts were friendly, food was exquisite. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

Nice little gem in Skokie. City vibes in the burbs. Small space with big tastes and spirits. Tables are close and intimate. Once you're situated in the tight quarters its a great experience.

I’ve been there a couple times.
My wife favorite spot. But it was very disappointed this time. We order four drinks and only three were delivered. I have to go to the bar and asked for the four one.
We are celebrating a birthday lunch. we ordered trio tacos for shared again I have to stand up and get some plates so we can shared.
We ordered two steak and egg, and a torta the milanesa. The steak was so chewy. Even my daughter said it. That was the first time Libertad disappointed us.
Of course will be back. But I hope my meat and service will be on point next time. We love Libertad and the owner is always nice to us.

Our daughter flew in from Denver for the weekend and always loved Libertad so that’s where we went. Fantastic drinks, great service, yummy food, just great.

Fantastic food, small charm restaurant it simply will not disappoint.

We enjoyed our early Valentine's Day dinner here. Started with a wonderful salad with pears and goat cheese. My dish, asada skirt steak with chimicuri was only so-so. Steak was perfectly cooked, but the cut was tough, and they seemed to have forgotten the chipotle goat cheese. The thin yucca fies were great and the chimichurri was really good but was not placed directly on the steak but rather on the fries, which were atop the steak, so it was hard to artfully move the chimmichuri onto the steak (& the fries got soggy faster than they should have). It was beautifully presented, but the presentation compromised the tastes. My husband's cochinta pebil was absolutely terrific--I wish I'd ordered it. We'll definitely return, but next time I will order the cochinita pebil.

The food was very good. We tried the Flutas and the Paella, but other dishes looked interesting as well.
