Food is tasty. Service is great. I love the fact that you're not rushed when eating.
The restaurant was very nice. The service was attentive. The food that we ate was delicious but we were disappointed that the menu on line was completely different than the restaurant. The online menu was larger, more affordable and more casual. We spent double what we thought we would but the food was great. The wine was also much more expensive than other similar restaurants and limited affordable choices by the bottle. We drank the house wine by the glass but would have preferred more reasonable bottle choices. I would recommend it but for more special occasion due to the price not just casual dinner out with the girls.
The service was horrible and the food just as bad. We left no tip and do not plan to return.
My family and I love and enjoy Liola. Food is exquisite. Atmosphere perfect. Service exceptional.
The reason I gave Liola 4 stars was because it was difficult to communicate with him. He recited the specials incorrectly and couldn't really explain them which was annoying. He was a very nice guy though as was everyone else. The food was very good and dessert was delicious! Since it was early, there were very few people in the restaurant so we were able to get a great table next to the fireplace!
All in all I would go back but read the menu first so I can figure out what to order!!!!
Food is amazing, but service is a bit slow. I also was incorrectly charged
Indeed a gem in queens e cells to service very calming atmosphere and wonderful food
2nd time visiting this Queens gem. Celebrating my Mothers 87th birthday, we were a party of 9. Food and service was fabulous. Sophisticated but easy to enjoy menu, our group loved the Gnocchi, Skirt Steak, Shrmp and clam ravioli, Branzino and a succulent breadcrumb encrusted chicken. This HAS to be one of the finest restaurants in Queens and as good as anything in the other boroughs. Can’t wait to go back.
Very good food. Very attentive and gracious staff. Very nice bar area...
We had a coupon which had no restrictions on it but the owner insisted it was not good for Froday
even though he honored it he was lecturing us
he is full of himself and the food was nothing special
My neighborhood fave!
Great food, delightful folks.
Food, service always wonderful and staff makes you feel right at home!!
We had a nice dinner. Round table 6 people
My wife and I have been to many Italian restaurants in Queens. But Liola is by far the best in food, service, atmosphere, and value. We were very happy with our dinner and look forward to making our regular Italian spot.
Recommendations were on point. I especially like the fact that no matter which waiter of staff member is near your table, they will fill up your glass of water, clear the table of any soiled dishes, ask if you want anything else etc. They are an amazing team. Even if I didn't have a certificate, I would still go back to Liola. Thumbs up Liola
Service was slow. Waiters did not speak well or clearly. Food was fine, but kids said brick oven pizza tasted like regular pizza. Baked clams were not as expected. And food took a long time to come out. Coffee came out way before dessert which was only tartufo and thank god I tasted before my son who has peanut allergies bc there was peanuts in the middle? So weird waiter could not communicate properly when asked about this, would never go back
fabulous food, not noisy ,a little understaffed that night.
the service was not the best...there were 2 bigger parties there so we were not that well attended too.
the fliet mignon was sub par...
the appetizers were good but very big ...the server should have told us to order only one.
the wine was meh.
i'd go back because it is close to home...but it wasn't there best night
Good service and great food
Enjoyed and loved Liola. My guests were very happy and they also enjoyed the Italian style.
Worst meal I’ve ever had. Food was terrible, service was even worse. Will never go back.
Horrible! Service was horrible...waited forever for a waiter and over 30 min for a check!!! Very unprofessional!
This is, in my opinion, the best restaurant/bistro in the area. There are several red sauce joint in Whitestone and Bayside, but none have a veal ossobucco like Liola. It is not as noisy as places on Bell Blvd and the room is prettier than all of them. Great value for the price, just use the valet. Parking can be tough.
First time we'd ever been here. We won a Liola Gift Card for $50 dollars at a Charity Event and we decided to go for our Anniversary. Lovely restaurant ~ excellent service and wonderful food! The Chef treated us to his own homemade Limoncello and again treated us to a surprise Chocolate Layer Cake for our Anniversary. Our Server / Bartender made my Manhattan perfectly and as requested. All the portions are quite generous ~ Crab cakes, Buratta plate with figs, prosciutto & caponata, Stuffed Pork Chop and the special of the day Osso Bucco ~ everything was excellent. Not inexpensive - Manhattan prices - but worth it. $163.00 not including tip - primarily because of the Osso Bucco at $45.00. For a luxurious night out - we will definitely eat here again and intend to recommend it to friends.
We had an early New Year’s eve dinner and it was lovely, the food was tasty prepared really well! however the service was a bit inattentive and distracted. Could be the waiter was having a rough night. Overall very pretty place delicious food!
Had a business lunch at Liola because it was convenient from Long Island and Rockland. Pleasantly surprised. Everything was great.
they had a huge private party which is very nuce but they should have closed the restaurant as waited to ve seated and 20 min to get water and then the waiter ca.evfcto ask what we wanted withoutvgiving us a menu irvtelli gbnbus sodcials ie even asking about cocktail or appetizers.thet were understandably overwhelmed. it was our mistake not to have left.
Very nice people. Good food, good service. The only thing missing is music. There was no background music, very unusual for a restaurant.
marvelous service, exquisite cuisine..a memorable dinner felt like we were back in italy..thank you!
We have now eaten at Liola twice and had an amazing time both times. Service was excellent and very accommodating, the food was delicious, and the overall ambiance was romantic and warm. Love this restaurant and plan to come back many times more.
Went for a special occasion in a. Not very special restaurant. It was empty!!! That says it all.
This restaurant is gem! Everything from the decor, the ambiance, the food and service that is unmatched. The menu had some unique items and the specials had a great selection. One of the best Italian rest as we've been to! It's our new favorite!
Excellent food and service. Chef Angelo is extremely talented. Liola is also tastefully appointed. I highly recommended Liola.
The service and food was excellent. Very warm feel about the place. The entertainer set the tone for a very romantic evening.
We had a very nice evening at Liola. The service was terrific and the food was delicious. Branzino, Calamari, Arugula Salad all very good. Fish was done just right. The pasta special with pesto, scallops, and shrimp was good, but not up to the level of the rest of the meal. The pasta itself was homemade and done perfectly. A very delicious slice of cheesecake with a candle for a birthday. They should think about sone sound-absorbing surfaces. As the room began to fill, it got quite noisy.
We absolutely love Liola. Mohammed our waiter is the best. Food is fresh and wonderfully prepared
Good food - we went for Sunday brunch and had the entire restaurant to ourselves!
Our friends came in from Plainview and we decided to go here for lunch. Everything was fantastic. From our waiter Mohammad to the delicious and well presented food. Will be returning very soon🌈
We are always delighted with our meal at Liola. Travel from Wilton Connecticut to visit with family and friends over delicious, authentic Italian cuisine. The service is superb and portions are plentiful.
