We are always so well taken care of when we come to Loco. Becky is always amazing to us. We love the food and the vibe here- even under Covid restrictions. We are grateful to have such a great restaurant near us.

Loco is the best! Their brunch menu is unreal. I got the chorizo burrito and their breakfast potatoes. It doesn’t get any better than that!

Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was phenomenal. Our server was happy to break down the menu, answer questions we had about certain food and even recommend a few things. Definitely worth the trip. The drinks, queso and smoked brisket tacos were amazing.

As always a wonderful experience. Great margaritas, great service and food was good! My friend got the taco salad and I got the quesadilla and we split chips and guacamole.

A Southie staple!! Unbeatable atmosphere and the best tacos and margaritas around. Highly recommend the frozen espresso martini!

COVID accomodations work well on a sunny fall day. Sat at a picnic bench on Broadway. Food was delicious and drinks were good. Noise level dominated by street traffic (out of Loco's control).

Awesome, as usual. Oysters were briny and the cocktails outstanding (and our guests were very picky bartenders).

Monday’s, they serve the $1 oysters; they’re so fresh and just delicious. The ambiance was really nice! My party and I were able to be seated no problem and listened to a few great tunes as we waited to be served! All of the tacos are beautifully made, however, the blackened tuna taco is literally amazing! This was my second Monday visit. I believe Monday’s I will return.

I have loved this place and the food still didn’t disappoint. My criticism is in regards to ambiance. It’s tough times for restaurants and I completely understand that. However, letting people come in without masks, not cleaning the tables and partitions that are separating booth, it was uncomfortable. In this day and age giving customers a sense of safety is super important. When you see sticky handprints on the clear partitions, it’s upsetting. I’d happily order takeout cause the food is amazing but I can’t see myself returning to dining- in or out - based on the standards I experienced.

We had planned an old school crawl with open table to be able to bounce around and had inside Stats then Lincoln and chose to be inside so it was cool- then go to Loco and all windows were open and much hotter so that transition we wish it had AC on inside where we were. So we just had the 1 drink and then left to eat inside Shenanigans to be inside with AC.

Great food and service

Atmosphere is great for cocktails but do not order any food. I found a piece of hard white plastic in my taco and am glad I didn’t choke.

Best tacos and margs in Boston!

It was scrumptious. The ambiance was good (the candles were real, how official). The tacos were delicious - beautiful debate was sparked about whether the Fried Chicken or Chicken Bacon Ranch was better.

Stephen Barressi and Johnny at the bar are wonderful; friendly, professional, and courteous, quick service, and great recommendations depending on what I'm looking for. My boyfriend and I go to Loco every so often for $1 oysters on Monday! We always end up getting dozens of oysters (the best around), mezcal cocktails, and tacos and/or other apps. The guacamole is delicious, and the beef tacos and the new sauerkraut taco were so tasty! The professional service, friendly staff, low-key vibe, music playlist (can I follow this on Spotify??!) and food are what keeps bringing us back again and again. Please keep doing what you're doing! I look forward to coming to Loco again soon (once Coronavirus has calmed down), and wish continued success for your business.

Amazing tacos and margaritas!! 10/10 will be back

This place exceeded our expectations. It is a fun active restaurant with live music and bar atmosphere. It was really loud, so if you are looking for a lower key dining experience, this isn't it. Tequilla drinks were delicious and potent and the tacos were yummy.

Must be a thing with the new spots in Southie, you can barely hear the person across from you.
Loco is great but I think my wife and I have aged out of it. We are in our early 30s and there were, at least, 20 people snap chatting themselves eating! While eating!! Bananas! Great spot but more for the young crowd, living off mom and dad's credit card.

Loco was a fun and energetic atmosphere and a great spot for our afternoon brunch. We were greeted by the hostess and promptly seated near the window. The food and drink were very good. However, the service was a bit subpar. The instant we sat down I felt like we were already being rushed out of our table. After one of the four of us finished our food, the plate was immediately removed causing the slower eaters to feel self conscious about being slow. The live music made up for it!

Great place to go for National Margarita Day! The live music was great although a little loud for our group of 6 that was dining for lunch.
