Food sucks!!! Never again fish uncooked, drinks 🍸 water 💧
Great night to be outdoors and enjoy a great meal! Our food and service was excellent! I find Lure to be a bit pricey, but worth it for a special occasion. The valet parking is a bit much though. Should be part of the restaurant service!
Lure is NEVER a dissapointment. My wife and i just love this place. Food, service and always friendly staff make our time here memorable.
Our waiter was excellent, he offered good recommendations and was very attentive. We would definitely return for dinner again.
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at Lure! The service was excellent as was the food. I have the scallops and they were delicious!
I was drawn to this restaurant because of the octopus and pork wrap appetizer and it lived up to the reviews. It was luscious, with moist pork and perfectly grilled octopus accompanied by a pile of perfectly fresh butter lettuce, cilantro, and mint. The sauce was piquant. I and my dining partner each had this dish (we're not big eaters) and because it's an appetizer we rounded it out with grilled asparagus and the arugula. The appetizers were so generous arguably we didn't need all the extra greens, but they were delicious too. We ordered wine by the glass from a list with just the right amount of options, and when I commented that my pinot gris was delicious but unusual, the server noted that it reminded her of a chardonnay (which was exactly what I was thinking). She knew her stuff! Lovely setting, in a chic neighborhood. I would return in a heartbeat.
My husband and I are their on a Friday evening fod our date night. I guess the whole "best seafood in Atlanta" is a self-declaration. The menu was fine but nothing special at all. We had the tuna ceviche with coconut foam on a crispy plantain. Tuna was good, the coconut foam not really my thing (might be a thing) and the plantain was oily and overcooked.
My husband ordered some grilled fish that I can't remember the name, but it had a spicy green salsa and broiled pork loin or something like that. It was fine. I ordered the pan-fried fish (another one I can't remember) and it came with spinach. it had no flavor and just underwhelming.
I also got the Hawaiian named cocktail which was subpar. Yeah, so nothing exciting. Will not be going back again. No real ambience.
Great but a bit loud
A different menu with outstanding combinations. The service was great and the wine choice very week selected
Great bartender and server! Food was excellent! Thanks.
I came in with 2 kids in tow and my server was amazing. She made sure the kids were entertained and knew exactly what to do. Mom unity!
My husband and I went there for the first time Saturday for dinner and I highly recommend getting there for Happy Hour! The Oysters and Shrimp Cocktail were delicious as well as our drinks, For dinner I had the Scallops which were AMAZING! My husband had the Swordfish and it was delicious as well! We shared the punch bowl and it was soo refreshing and tasty not to mention it will get you feeling good! We can't wait to go back!
This was my third time eating at Lure and I must say that the service and the quality of the food were the same, excellent. I really like the staff, they are kind and helpful. I love when people have a nice smile on their faces. I'll come back to Lure for sure.
I was in town for a college tour with my niece. I went to Lure on my last night in town, based on a recommendation. The restaurant was quaint and fairly quite for an 8:30 reservation on a Friday night. I had the gumbo and swordfish entree, my niece had the catfish with hush puppies. Given that I wasn’t in New Orleans, the gumbo was a nice contender. My swordfish was a very simple dish that was served with bok choy and rice. It was light and exactly what I needed after two days of eating out in the South.
My niece is only 17 so her taste buds are still developing so I will omit her opinion. That said, i tried dish and I found her catfish edible but a bit on the salty side; it was a healthy portion but I have definitely had better. Overall, Lure was satisfying but it’s not a place I would rush back when I’m in town again.
One of the best restaurants in Atlanta. Truly a hidden gem, and well worth checking out. Excellent seafood and delicious creative dishes.
We were running behind and the host staff made the adjustments with a simple call. They greeted us with champagne for our anniversary. The waitress asked if we had another event to attend and I gave her our planned time to leave. She accommodated flawlessly and the meal moved along without being rushed. They topped the night of with comping our dessert of choice. Great meal and attention to detail from all staff!
Business trip client was close - hadn't been. Very nice atmosphere, service was great and food was good. I'll go back.
Nice setting. Food was very good and plentiful. Device was a tad slow/uninspired (he had a couple of large tables so a one top....). Would recommend. If not a big eater, you could get by with an app or two. Large servings.
Outstanding meal. Love the way they carved out such a tucked away oasis in a little busy compact street. If I could give six stars for server and supporting staff I would. Gives me renewed hope that good professional customer service is not dead in intown Atlanta.
We truly enjoyed our experience at Lure. The fritto misto and halibut were absolutely delicious. Our server, Roman, was so lively and attentive. His wine suggestions paired well with our meal and he made sure we were always tended to in a timely matter. We will absolutely be back again soon!
Lovely casual atmosphere. Service is exceptional. The menu did not disappoint! Delicious meal. Will return again for sure.
Went to Lure for the first time last Saturday evening. What an outstanding experience we had. We sat outside and the ambience was great. The service and food were fantastic as well as our mixed drinks. We will definitely be back and we are telling our friends and family. Great job Lure!
Excellent food (scallops were delicious), attentive but not intrusive wait staff, very pleasant atmosphere. Will return.
We wanted to sit outside but there was a private party going on. Was a little loud inside. Food was good.
Great seafood. I ate here five years ago and remember having a great meal. So when I revisited Atlanta this week I was determined to find the restaurant because I couldn't remember the name. I had the hardest time finding it through various Google searches so I finally gave up and asked a friend. It was just as good as a remember five years ago.
So good!! Both the food and the service was amazing.
The grilled halibut was delicious! My wife loved the catfish.
I had been here previously and I enjoyed the experience; however, this time was so forgettable. From the hostess who was not friendly or happy that we decided to dine with them and wanted to sit inside, to the server who kept mishearing what we were ordering for our appetizer. Also, AFTER the payment transaction went through and I get my receipt, she THEN informs me that I have a $20 amount on my frequent diner card. AFTER.
Very disappointing. I'll still visit other 5th Group restaurants but I have no interest in returning to Lure.
Good late night dinner. Lots of places for groups or private areas for couples. Food was very good...interesting pairings. Great service. Will be back
If you don’t get the seared scallops you’re doing it wrong. Amazing!!! 😍
Wow! What can I say? From our greeter at the door… To our server, Roman… To the delicious food and beautiful presentation… Seriously, every aspect of our time at Lure was amazing! A beautiful way to spend a Sunday brunch!
From the attentive server, the prompt service and the ambiance l am extremely pleased with my experience as a first time customer. Thank you.
Second time at Lure and was excellent again! You've got to try this place if you love seafood. Don't miss the Hush Puppies!
Great. 50th birthday celebration. She loved the halibut in brown butter sauce.
Got our car broken into by the valet.
From the recommendations from our server to the plating to the taste. Everything was top notch! We will be back again and again and again!!!
Lure is one of my favorite restaurants. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. They never disappoint!
Great dinner with my wife. Roman was our waiter and did a great job for us from wine selection to entree suggestions. The baked crab appetizer was very good. My wife had the halibut and really liked it. I had the lobster roll and it was very good. We will be back.
