Madhu's Heathrow Restaurant
Potions quite small. Papri chaat very dry and not to standard so sent it back. Tastes pretty low for reputation of madhus. Main
Dishes overpriced. Ambience and setting nice.
Great ambiance but very expensive! No alcohol and still £40-£50 per head. Drinks were ~£12 per drink so we didn’t include drinks.
Food tastes great but not something one might be able to afford every week!
So the picture shown is all wonderful food bit literally a small scoop of each, at £30 for the thali - I feel other places that charge ~£20 for this are fairer on price.
Great service great food amazing cocktails love this place
Service: To being with, the staff couldn’t find our reservation, however they accommodated us despite the restaurant being busy! The starters took forever to arrive. People sitting on the two tables next to us had finished their dinner and paid by the time our starters arrived. Very disappointing service, not to mention we had a new born baby with us. I would think that at least that should warrant speedy service.
Food: The serving staff were not aware of the dish they were serving. Both starters and main course were announced incorrectly despite one of the main courses being a thali! We ordered papri chaat. the papri was thick and tasted like out of a packet rather than made fresh. The yoghurt was sour. The Veg thali was presented well, however the panner lacked taste and was hard like a brick. The kadhi was cold which I asked to be reheated and the staff was happy to do so. Overall, it was a disappointment. Only thing going for the restaurant was the naan, which was delicious! Best naan I’ve eaten in London!!
Host was shocking- no care in the world and regardless of me booking the table 1 week in advance and specifically requesting a nice table as it was my wifes bday- we were told that it doesnt matter and put on a table right near the bar next to a party of 30 people- hardly romantic. When discussed with the host- she shrugged her shoulders and told us they were busy.
Food- nice however our order was wrongly taken so we got 2 wrong items for starters, this was corrected however it took 20 mins for what we order to be delivered to our table- so we had our starters and then waited another 20 mins for the rest of them. The mains arrived 45 minutes after the second lot of starters were served.
Defo not going back and honestly would expect more from an established brand.
£80 later, i feel we got 0 value for money and dined at a restaurant which didnt provide any service at all (although bless the waiters as they did try but it seems the organisation from senior level was no existent, so they had very limited tools provided to give a decent service!)
Reduced quantity by 30 to 40%
Okay for once a while.
Awesome. Food, service, ambiance, all great.
I pleasure coming back for casual dining.
Service was average. Prices high. Nothing to shout about. Garlic Naan was a bit tasteless and dry. No effort to offer any dessert etc for my birthday.
Lovely meal can’t wait to return
Must try the Robata Grill lamb Chops!!
Food and service have improved since we visited over a year ago. Particularly enjoyed the boneless grilled chicken and tilapia curry. Service is friendly and helpful.
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Didn’t order too much as I had a large lunch but the dish was outstanding. Nice recommendation on the wine too and all backed up by great service.
Outstanding, you guys really do go over and beyond with your service. Food was amazing can not fault at all.
A varied menu offering a la carte as well as a degustation menu. The service was very good and the wine list was well chosen and not too pricey. We walked there from another Heathrow hotel and it was worth it.
They have changed there flavour . I really enjoy this restaurant every given chance I can to go out for dinner I would chose this place hands down every time . Just needs changing back .
Very good service friendly receptionist
Not sure we were charged £1 under other in our bill
Lovely food, great service...just love this place
Beautifully cooked food, excellent wine list and attentive service. Highly recommended!
Daughters 21st dinner . Without asking they gave us a table in a private area which wasn't expected. Great service. The staff were attentive we could tell they wanted to ensure we had a great experience and we did.
Excellent service and food has been always remarkable . We often go to Madhu’s the staff is very friendly also.
Always the best food in the area well presented and attentive staff. Will definately return in the summer.
Poor service.... But The food was just amazing, despite the rude waitresses
The restaurant had no details of my booking which was supposed to be a treat for my wife. A very embarrassing experience to say the least. Eventually spoke to the manager who would not even agree to offer any discount for the error.
Wss staying nearby and just walked into this restaurant. What a surprise. Authentic Indian food with excellent service and great ambiance.
They weren’t aware of our reservation.
However, that was solved quickly and the food was lovely!
Always a highlight to dine here when we fly from Heathrow. Friendly welcome. Good variety of dishes served with a modern twist. Many locals eat here which is a good sign. The prices are a little high but that is expected in an airport hotel. Looking forward to returning next time we stay at the Skyline.
Love their ribs
Nice venue, great food, and excellent service.
If only the place was accessible by public transport, it would be more popular. Good venue for family, friends catch up. We had drinks by the pool and we were greeted with a great round table for dinner. Service was fab!!
We are returning customers and it was good as usual.
Lovely place, staff really nice and accommodating. Gave less stars due to the wait time of being served which was a little long considering the restaurant wasn’t very busy.
The food was nice but not exceptional; could have been the dish I chose though as my friends were raving about their dishes.
The side room we were sat in was perfect for a birthday celebration. We were well served throughout the evening with attentive but unpushy service. We tried many dishes and really enjoyed the table layout which enabled us to all share food easily and converse openly. Everything was cooked to perfection and served well, with some really stunning presentation on starters. I ended my meal with a really great cup of tea as well!
I am a regular customer at this restaurant. The service and staff are amazing.
What did notice at my last visits were:
- Prices had gone up
- taste of food wasn’t as good as before
- the poppadoms atvthe beginning were rushed as the waiter was trying to get table ready for main
Otherwise okay - has the chef & prices changed recently?
Excellant food, great location, a real fabulous find close to the office and close to anyone coming in from a flight.
Whilst the service was friendly and attentive it was slow and we had to prompt the staff. Food was not of the standard I would expect from Madhus and the price. Disappointed that the menu is not as extensive as the main restaurant in Southall.
We always stay at the Sheraton skyline so we can have dinner here
Nice food ; very pleasant staff but simply not enough of them to be quick enough - everything took far too long.
Food was excellent.
Good wine list
Plenty of parking
Unforntuantely service was poor
Very disappointing visit, I have visited this restaurant before during a week day when it wasn't busy at all, that evening me and my husband enjoyed the food and the service, this Saturday's visit with my family was terrible, the restaurant was quite busy so went completely down hill, I will never go there again, the portions were terrible, they didn't have any hare bare kebab and we didn't go that late, the service wasn't great either, for a table of 7 we were given 2 menus! Then the waitress asked my daughter to move her pushchair but didn't bother to help move it and lastly apart from the daal makhani the rest of the food was nothing special and then to top it up they stick on a £23 service charge and another contribution, complete joke, customers should decide how much a service tip should be not the restaurant!! Certainly won't be going back or recommending to anyone.
Food was excellent, best Indian food I’ve eaten outside of india! Cocktails were lovely too and portion sizes were huge!
The only downside of this place is the slow service. The waiters and hostess were lovely when they did finally get to you but it took ages to get attention. If this side of it gets sorted this place would be the perfect experience! The saag Paneer was amazing! For someone who doesn’t normally like it I ate every little bit of it!
Excellent food, original and delicious. The service was a tiny bit slow but the restaurant was very full, which also accounts for the noise level being quite high. I'd give it a good recommendation even if not a 'best' recommendation.
