Fabulous experience

Don’t leave a lot of reviews but the place is grossly overrated and over priced, for what you get. The food was very average yet the prices were commensurate with very high-end dining.

The food was excellent and I especially appreciated Madison’s having a sommelier on staff ready to offer guidance with the wine menu.

My daughter and I had a delightful meal at Madison's and everyone was so well trained and kind. The food was unique and delectable. Our waitress Victoria was amazing and we would highly recommend dinner anytime you are in the Highland area.

While we thought the food was good, the service lacked. It seemed as if our waiter was not as attentive and welcoming due to the fact we did not order alcohol, despite the fact that we ordered all courses for both of us. It seemed as if the level of detail was not given to us as the surrounding patrons. I ordered a coffee, had to request sugar/creamer, and never received a spoon with which to stir. On a positive note, the soups were delicious and the portions of the food very generous for a fine dining restaurant.

Having tried lunch and dinner at Madison the best part of the experience was the service. They are very attentive and kind.
The disappointing part was the quality of the food compared to the cost of each plate.
A simple grilled steak was poorly plated and the flavor didn’t meet the expectations.
Hopefully they improve.

Restaurant really made us feel special, as we celebrated our wedding anniversary. Murphy was an outstanding server...bubbly personality and very attentive throughout the evening. Ask for Murphy!!

Fantastic food, and incredible treatment. Not to be missed in Highlands.

Very quiet, romantic, wait staff was awesome. Food was great , couldn’t ask for a better evening!

Our first "taste" of Madison's was ordering a wine that the server came back to tell us was unavailable/sold out. We ordered a different bottle but felt at a restaurant like this, servers should be able to tell you when wine list is presented if any are out. Next, we were constantly checked on, asked if we were ready to order, told we had to order the souffle at time of entree order as it takes 30 minutes. We were in no hurry. They were. The restaurant seemed to want us to hurry through each course and get us in and out for the next customer. As we ate our salads, servers and bus people were peaking to see if we had finished yet. Entrees were served quickly after salad plates were taken. Souffle that took 30 minutes tasted like flavorless,under-cooked egg-whites. No taste-the coffee ice cream on the side was its only savior. We were very much looking forward to this meal and experience and left very disappointed.

The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. We will return to Madison's on our next trip to Highlands.

Always a great meal and experience.

Food and service are excellent and the ambience is unbeatable anywhere - gorgeous and romantic. The only hesitation I have is that the martinis are so tiny that it is really an embarrassment for such an amazing venue. Maybe a few reviews identifying this sole deficiency might prompt management to reflect what all the other great restaurants already have learned.

The service was wonderful. The service was impeccable. The aesthetics very pretty. My food was delicious. However, we could have done without the boisterous man at the table behind us talking loudly. He was so obnoxious, I could not hear anything except his opinion about politics being screamed in my ear. He went on and on and on...

It was not about which candidate he loved, it was about his utter rudeness to keep his voice done. Unbelievably obvious...

I guess it never occurred to him that some of us were trying to enjoy a nice, romantic Valentine’s Day.

After calling ahead to ensure we’d still be seated even though we were going to late, the hostess was unaware of the conversation and did not want to seat us. We overheard the wait staff making snarky comments as I’m sure other diners did as well.

After a tense discussion with the manager we were seated. The food and service were very good, but the experience was soured by the unprofessional way the hostess and manager handled the situation.

Celebrated anniversary. Excellent food and service!

Two young couples seated behind our table came in loud and after four bottles of wine became louder. Very annoying. Restaurant management never said a word. Food was excellent

I had been looking forward to this dining experience and it surpassed everything! Incredibly beautiful restaurant, amazingly talented and friendly wait staff, and the food is just on-another-planet good. Everything from our appetizer to desserts were beautifully plated and tasted incredible. You definitely do not want to miss a dining experience here - Madison’s has everything.

New year’s brunch

Madison's is our go to restaurant for special occasions. The food is always great and so is the service. Kristyna provided great service for this birthday lunch. We'll definitely return.

Amazing food, service and great atmosphere. Buffalo short ribs and duck entree were delicious, as well as the gingerbread soufflé

Very mediocre and unimpressive- we expected more from Relais & Chateaux

Wish the menu would change. For locals, we are tired of the same things. Perhaps having a few specials each day would help. It is a beautiful restaurant and the staff is well trained.

Ordered steak medium well and it was bleeding on the plate. I sent it back and second steak came out just as rare.

Anniversary

Birthday dinner! It was a really good time. Our order got messed up but it got taken care of promptly!

Our second time to dine at Madison's and will definitely dine again. Looking forward to it.

The hostesses were not impressive. They ignored us when we first came in and made us stand there while they solved a problem before they ever looked up to acknowledge us. They couldn’t find our reservation... along with many other people who came in around the same time. They were bringing people to unprepared tables or sitting 2 parties at 4 tops all around us and other customers were not impressed either. The restaurant could not follow through on pretty simple requests... it didn’t seem up to par with a RC. The food was so so.
