It was just okay! We arrived and they did not recognize that we had a reservation even though it was booked over a week in advance. Service and food were good. Unlike some other restaurants, they did not do anything to make our special occasion “special”.

A Celtic Christmas was wonderful, great service, food, and entertainment!

McGee’s is and will always be our most favorite restaurant. The food is always delish, service is on point and atmosphere is awesome. No one around does it better than McGee’s! Check em out, you won’t be disappointed!

This was our first time dining here. We sat outside on the patio which was very nice. The food and service were excellent. Will definitely visit again.

As a first time customer, I would definitely recommend this tavern for a an authentic and delicious meal. The atmosphere was cozy and quiet. Service was great and beverage menu had a great selection. I recommend the Sheppard's Pie.

Food was hot and favor full. Service was a tentative but not overwhelming. We had the hush puppies with lavender honey and also did the Irish Spring rolls. Both are outstanding. I did the short rib special which was both flavorful and enjoyable the wife did it Ruben sandwich I’ll be enjoy the very nice bottle of wine overall I would say that it was enjoyable meal.

Found this hidden gem while looking for a new spot to take out of town visitors - what a surprise! Food was delicious, Tevin our server was attentive and gracious. We expected more of a bar-like feel but the food was really tasty and the menu very diverse. Loved hearing about the history of McGees. We will definitely be going back!

Good food. Good beer. Good prices. Good atmosphere.

The food was not good, they have changed something. I had the Irish stew which used to come with the lamb shank and a generous portion of meat and potatoes. Now, much smaller plate at higher price. The wife had bangers and mash which was inedible. The sausage tasted rancid. On top of this, their menu price did not line up with what was charged. We used to enjoy this place but I seriously doubt us going back.

We love this place! Some of the best food in town, made better by incredible staff.

Would like 100% Celtic music played at all times and bands starting earlier at happy hour.

a great local standby. honest food, good service, reasonable prices. on "non live music nights" noise level is great for conversation or just a quiet meal. On music nights, the sound level isn't terrible, but it's hard to have a conversation.

The food was delicious. It has been a few years since I have visited Corbett McGees and I am so glad I went. I'll definitely be back. The Celtic Dragon Eggs were delicious (if you like pimento cheese) and the basket of fresh bread was great. I had the fish and chips and the serving was more than I could eat. My niece had the shrimp and grits and it looked scrumptious. I didn't try them but they looked like the type of shrimp and grits I would eat. I don't like just any shrimp and grits. The portions were large. Everyone got a to-go box. The service was great. Our server was courteous and stayed right on top of keeping our glasses filled but wasn't overbearing. We went around 6 pm on a Saturday so it was before the rush but there were several patrons already there. Parking around back is limited but you can always park around front. I definitely give our overall visit 5 stars. I'll be going back.

The only complaint I have is the reservation I made on Open Table didn't make it to the restaurant.

Food was great. One if the best veggies I've ever eaten at a restaurant and I'm not usually fond of veggies. Only complaint, we had to keep asking for refills on drinks, esp. coffee.

Overall it was a pretty good place to go for a Friday evening. Good selection of Irish dishes and tasted good. They were out of the 2 adult beverages We ordered. Just really lacked an Irish atmosphere and seemed like a routine bar. No live music but did have a drum set ready. Service was okay but server really needed to be trained a little more before doing a solo.

I had a fabulous time at McGees, my first time there. the music, Clay Babies was just great and fit right into the Irish Pub scene. The food was wonderful, I had a pub salad -it was delicious and huge, I couldn't quite finish it. The beer list was great too.

This was a great place for my wife and I to get away to just for a few minutes. The food was great, the service was excellent and the people were very friendly. Oh, and the food was outstanding. A definite yes on returning.

I loved the ambiance..a mix of old Irish with some modern...the staff were mostly friendly..great food other than a little too much pepper in my mashed potatoes.. Not a huge amount of items on the menu which was good....I will go back...

This was our first visit to McGee's...but it won't be our last!! The waiter was superb, the food outstanding, the beer selection extensive...and we totally ate too much!!

We always enjoy McGees! We celebrated my daughters graduation from Anderson University. The Mick aroni and cheese, Trout, fish and chips, Dragon eggs and more, were enjoyed by all!

This is a lovely restaurant. The service is friendly the food is very good. I wish I lived closer so I could become a regular.

We like the atmosphere at McGee's, have been going there for years. Food is plentiful and tasty. The servers are friendly and the beer is cold, nice variety. The fish and chips is a great choice as is the salmon.

Although I enjoyed the Rueben sandwich, the fish and chips my husband ordered wasn't the best. The fish was a bit greasy and not the mild flavor I am used in with Cod for this type of meal. The noise level was a bit high as well even though I asked for a quiet location. Not the best choice for us.

Overall experience was great. We are going to be return diners.

I ordered sautéed spinach which was extremely salty. Two in the party ordered the $23 beef tips and shrimp special, both said the beef was tough and they pushed it off to the side. We had hoped that new cook and management would make it better but we likely won't be back as the food was nothing special.
Waitress was a bit on the haughty side.

Great Irish pub- great craic. Friendly staff, great food. We’ll be back.
