   We went for our 25 year anniversary dinner. We noted such on their drop down menu for "occasion" and put "anniversary". We were seated next to the loudest table in the restaurant when there were several tables open. Not a single acknowledgement of "happy anniversary" while we were there. Waiter was super nice and knowledgeable; however, super slow. Took a long time coming to our table every single time. I would not recommend Meritage and do not plan on going back.

   The food was very good. My wife and I shared the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer, creamy and cheesy. She had the Prime Rib done to perfection, but a little more fat than we normally see in a fine restaurant. I had the Lamb Chops, over a bed of spinach, with a crock of tasty Mac & Cheese. 5 nice chops with a light glaze, very tender.

    Usually a favorite restaurant, I was bothered by the level of energy and noise. So much so that I took my food in a to go box and left early. Disappointing. Service was excellent. Next time I've got to be sure to book a booth. I will enjoy the leftovers, for sure.

    The Meritage is our special occasion place. Mother's Day was this occasion. The prime rib was tender and delicious and the ahi tuna was excellent although, I would have liked green lumps of wasabi rather than the prepared sauce which had no kick. This is a fine place to dine.

    My wife and I went to the Meritage Restaurant celebrating our wedding anniversary. We both had the prime rib special - excellent, cooked just the way we ordered it. Our server, PM L., was on top of it all, she was there when we needed her and not there when we didn't. The guy playing music was terrific, soft guitar and a wonderful voice. We enjoyed our visit and highly recommend the Meritage Restaurant.

    First time here and not disappointed. We got to sit on the patio and it was a very nice meal. The ribeye was perfect and the service was on point. In fact the entire staff was really nice here. Highly recommend.

    Been here many times. Food and service are always outstanding. Nice for a date night out, special occasion or casual outing with friends. Tried an appetizer for once since we had a group: Queso and chips. Do yourself a favor and order that - it’s SO delicious. Chips are made fresh. I would have drunk the queso right out of the bowl if I wasn’t forced to share it.

    It was my Wife’s 50th birthday. I asked to have something special at the table prepared. They had some pretty flowers and a nice bottle of wine ready for us. Great service and the food was amazing.

    Service was slow. Got seated right away but we sat our table for at least 15 to 20 minutes and had to get up and ask for a server to come over to our table. We ordered two simple glasses of wine and the server had to come back and ask what one of the drinks was that we ordered. The server said she would bring us bread, but that did not come until our dinner came out.

    Our table upstairs was ready when the four of us checked in. Taylor was our server and did a great job all evening. The first thing we noticed was the extremely high noise level. The dining room was full and everyone was enjoying themselves but the noise made it nearly impossible to hear one another across the small table and that was before the solo guitar player/singer began his show. He was very good by the way. We all ordered the prime rib special. It was served as ordered but with a lot more fat than is typical. The baked potato we all had was barely warm. Butter would not melt on the potato. Aside from the cold potato and very high noise level Meritage was a good experience. We will try it one more time, but if its not better we will scratch it from the list.

    We have been regular customers of Meritage for many years and eat there almost every week! Last Sat, we got our “regular” waitress who recognized us immediately w/a “Welcome Back!” greeting 😄. She actually remembers what we usually order to drink & eat! Last Sat, we ate upstairs so we could enjoy the guitarist who played a lot of Beatles hits … very enjoyable. We always leave the musician(s) a nice tip, but I think it should be Ok for musician to speak to audience about their background a few times during the eve & mention that tips are greatly appreciated. I think the musicians certainly deserve it!

    My husband and I are terrible at planning ahead, it was our 7th anniversary and we got on Open Table to scroll for last minute reservations open same day. We both knew we wanted a good steak, and that was our only requirement really. We stumbled upon Meritage, it wasn't far from home, and had a filet that looked great. We were definitely impressed. The food was AMAZING. The filet was the best steak either of us have ever had, we inquired about the goat cheese crust on the filet and it came highly recommended. We were told by our server and the chef it was the best thing on the menu and they did not lie! Service was a tad slow, as we sat in the bar area and there was only one bartender for all the tables in the area and to make drinks for whole restaurant, but he was incredibly friendly and helpful with the menu. My husband left his sunglasses at the table and he personally called us to tell us. I definitely recommend for a nicer quality meal with casual environment.
