Mr Todiwala's Kitchen
I am a regular at Mr Todiwala’s and cannot recommend the place enough.
Food is excellent and the staff really looked after me. Jerome, Mackanzie & Nicelee went the extra mile to make our birthday celebration extra special. Thank again .
Innovative and excellent food as always, staff fantastic. I stay at the inconveniently locates hotel in preference to others just to eat at Todiwalla’s
We had the set thali which was very nicely cooked and presented. Extra bread offered part way through the meal which was good.
My only criticism was the charge for the chutney tray, very small portions and not much variety for the two of us, I don’t mind paying for poppadums but please include the chutney especially as the portions were minuscule!
Awful plain, cold, old & naff
The food is top quality produce and the price is reasonable. I had a mix grill the meat was tender and cooked to perfection and the spices set the dish to another level. The portion was plenty. I now only have a main course I find a starter and main too much so I enjoyed the main as it's the star of the menu. The drinks are very expensive . I would go back again and definitely recommend to friends if they were go to be in the area.
The restaurant was terrible from start to finish. The food was flavourless, presentation poor and was way too over priced. Parts of my Halibut were burnt and other parts undercooked. The naan was undercooked also. Was expecting to take my partner to a great Indian and ended up with a poor meal and we were both still hungry after. There’s nothing traditional about any of the dishes we ate. Felt cheated. Didn’t even bother looking at dessert
Good quality dining in unique style of Todiwallahs
Great food as always. Friendly service.
This is my 3rd time and my partners 1st time at Mr Todiwala’s kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and can’t recommend it enough!! Food was fantastic and the service is exceptional. We look forward eating there again soon!!
Service was great from the moment we arrived. However if I returned I would not personally have the set menu as half of the items I would never have ordered but I got to try a few different things
Lovely - set valentine menu that was very good value and beautifully presented. Service was excellent - would thoroughly recommend.
Had dinner here last night. We were given a Valentines set menu. Only the chicken was halal which was disappointing as we expected the lamb to be as well.
The starters were average lacked any punch.
However, I have eaten at lots of very good Indian places and this place was really poor quality. Some dishes lacked flavour and definitely spice. Only the prawn curry was good but the chicken, paneer and dal were not very good.
For dessert we had the rose kulfi which was good.
I would not recommend as there are plenty more places way better.
However, the service was good and attentive by Nice Lee.
Truly authentic Indian food at a fantastic setting/ambience. Been there few times and loved the variety of food offered every single time.
Absolutely fantastic, couldn’t fault food or service
Excelkent service. Very attentive and really good food.
We have eaten here before and we were looking forward to coming back, as usual the team did not dissapoint. With all tastebuds adequately enewrgised and the food satisfying, We look forward to returning.
We had the extensive taster menu which we all agreed was very good. I decided not to drink and ordered a traditional lassi but they’d run out!
I am a regular at Mr Todiwala’s and cannot recommend the place enough. Food is excellent and the staff really looked after me.
We took friends on a virgin visit who also adored the place!
Thanks again Mr T & staff
The food, service and overall restaurant atmosphere is excellent, not a typical Indian restaurant that would be found on a high street, a lot of authenticity has clearly been injected into the menu and the result is a high quality tasty dish
I had a amazing time, the food atmosphere was fantastic.
At the end of the evening my night was ruined when I asked y waiter to pack the rest of my food I paid for and was told no we cant do that as the restaurant does not allow this. I have never come across such a thing, even the best restaurants I have been to in Central London they never told me I cannot take the remainder of my food that I have actually paid for and for this reason I will not be going back.
We always lay over at the Hilton at T5 before a morning flight from Heathrow and one of the main reasons is so we can eat at Mr Todiwala’s Kitchen. A welcoming staff and good food make it a great start to any holiday.
Excellent meal as always. The starter we shared was a little too spicy but we were given some beautiful yoghurt which toned it down and actually improved the taste. The sea bass was very tasty as was the Methi Murgh. Sweets of Belgian chocolate ice cream and mango sorbet were lovely.
Great food and friendly professional service
The restaurant is good for one visit wouldn't go again! I ordered a little too much food and towards the end when i requested to have it packed I was told I wasn't allowed to take it home. It's beyond ridiculous! Apparently their policy in fine print states that guests can take any leftovers!
The ambience doesn't cut a Michelin star experience, it felt more like a pop up kutchen/restaurant. Very plain and not much in the interior. Very cold done on the cheap decor!
The food was good, sadly the service wasn't on point. The whole experience wan ruined by not allowing guests to doggy bag what wasn't consumed yet it's okay to have to pay extortionate prices.
I’m not familiar with most of the dishes on the menu, I ate their version of chicken tikka masala. Compliments to the chef it was utterly delightful!
Yet again Mr Todiwala's was exceptional. From start to finish the service, food, ambience and basically the whole experience can not be faulted. The staff help you with the menu options, the vegetarian choices are fantastic and the presentation is a feast for your eyes. Just wish we stayed at the Hilton more often so we could eat here.
Throughly enjoyed the food. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Exceptional meal in lovely surroundings. We enjoyed an excellent meal again at this restaurant. We shared a starter of Potato Chaat which was excellent with just the right amount of spice. This was after a small jug of spiced broccoli soup given as a taster.
I had Methi Murgh Palak and my partner had Sea Bass in a coconut sauce . Both were delicious.
For dessert I had Goan coconut pancakes and my partner Zaftani Creme Brûlée .
Can’t wait to go back.
Excellent food and service. Very nice wine choice. Perhaps could have been some extra time in between the courses. Had an extremely good evening. One suggestion for the kitchen menu, include vegetable curry.
Great service, food was very tasty, would highly recommend.
Well prepared food good service
Lovely restaurant layout and fantastic food, service a little too slow considering it wasn't busy but waiters very efficient.
The staff were very polite and attentive. The food was excellent especially the mixed starter platter.
All the food was amazingly delicious
Not the greatest vegetarian Indian meal that I’ve experienced. It seemed to taste bland and lacking in vegetables, more sauce than substance.
Waiter was miserable and sour.
Over priced too
This is one of the main reasons I stay at the Hilton T5 hotel. The food is fantastic, a great variety, lots of different flavors. I've eaten here more than 10 times now and never had a bad meal.
Delicious food and brilliant customer service.
Arrived on a Saturday evening to an almost empty restaurant.
Reviewed the wine list to which various options of this limited wine menu where not available (blaming their supplier for the reason) Chose our 3rd option (as option 1 and 2 where not available) meaning that I had to pay an increased value of £12 for this option. Asked for this to be discounted down to what my 1st option would have been and was rudely refused.
The servers where rude and ill informed
Have used this restaurant before for corporate events, but will not do so in the future until they get their act together
Was a family celebration occasion on this visit and was all left very disappointed and I embarrassed for choosing this venue
We thoroughly enjoyed the Kitchen menu, 5 courses and chef’s choice, and note that you need to be extremely hungry to survive to the end. Excellent food and everything was of the highest quality, full of flavour, and Indian food at its finest. The service is efficient and friendly. Definitely will return.
