Always great food and pleasant service for brunch!
Ms.Rosas has a nice brunch. We love they're parmesan grits , bloody Mary bar and the traditional breakfast. The eggs are perfectly seasoned and served with bacon, sausage potatoes and fresh fruit.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch. Service was great and the food was outstanding. We will definitely be back again!
Me and my family went for Sunday brunch. The food, atmosphere and service was excellent! I can't wait to go back and try more menu items. The food is delish!
Excellent staff and great food
Great experience!! Will be back!
Food was amazing! The only thing that kept me from ranking this a 5 Star was that our server never came back to our table to check on us after we got our food.
We ate brunch there today. We both had the traditional breakfast. The eggs were fluffy and seasoned perfectly ,fruit and sausage were good and the parmesan cheese grits were amazing!. We love Rosa's.
My wife and I are from out of town. Came to Charleston for a valentine’s getaway. My wife was hungry after an 8 hour drive and we did not want to eat at the hotel. So we used open table to find something close. The reviews for Ms Rose’s were good, so we decided to book a table.
The food was incredible. The wife had the fried chicken plate and I had the brisket. And the old fashion mixed drink hit home. Later my wife and I questioned whether the food was really that good or were we just really hungry after driving all day.
Two days later we went back. We tried two different plates and they were just as good. You will not be disappointed!!
Food was amazing and the cornbread was out of this world. Would definitely recommend for a date night!
Fabulous Sunday brunch! All the options for the mimosa flights were so fun!
Our favorite sunday brunch spot in Charleston, food & service is always spot on !!!
One of our fav spots in Charleston!!! Food is always delicious, thankful for the gluten free items especially the gluten free roll!!! Amazing!!! My husband loved his meal, he even snapped pics of it all!
My wife and I came here for Valentine's Day for a late dinner. I must say we were not disappointed in the least. The service was perfect as well as our meals. I personally have a very wide palate. My wife is a bit more particular with her tastes. So when she was pleased I was ecstatic! We shared one of the most flaky, soft, and tasty Buiscuts with butter and blueberry topping ever! I had the Smoked Brisket and she had the Lamb Shank. OMG... it was awesome! The brisket had a very nice spicy bite to it and retained a very flavorful taste. The shank was simply delectable especially with the chutney. Everything they came with was excellent. We finally topped it off sharing a slice of the Banana Pudding Cheese Cake. That desert choice was a bit out of the norm for me but was interesting for my wife. It did not disappoint either of us! The sweetness was not over bearing and the texture was perfectly balanced between rich and fluffy. The atmosphere was quiet to moderate which can be expected for what can be described as a fine dining sports bar. The view and set up were very unique and tasteful. The booths, by design, are actually semi private. There is patio dining as well. We can not say enough good things about this place!
Service was good, however, my steak was cooked incorrectly and not seasoned. Baker potato was was hard and unappetizing. They offered to remake it or bring another dish as well as dessert, however, I lost my appetite. I’ve been here before and last time the food was great. Not sure what happened this fine around...
There were 6 of us, including 4 teenagers and everyone loved their food! The fried chicken was among the best Ive ever eaten. Would have loved to try the incredible selection of desserts but we were all too stuffed! It took a good bit of time to get our food but our waitress was outstanding and it was worth waiting for.
Food was very good however the waitress could have used some help as the place was very busy and she appeared over tasked. Overall very good and we will go back.
Food, ambiance and value are all great. It’s a really nice place. The service and front of house staff is definitely its weakness. Their servers look and act as if they are at a bar or an Applebee’s. Unkempt and not very personable.
It was the first time we took our newborn out to a restaurant, and they were accommodating to ensure we had a table that worked for us, including a car seat holder. Our service was a little slow because our server had a large party in addition to other tables, but he did a good job considering, and the food was great, as always.
Delicious like always. Food and service was top notch
Great neighborhood spot. Great brunch spot.
We enjoyed our meal. There is little to complain about, the next room had a trivia event going on, with a microphone, which added to the noise, making it sometimes difficult to hear each other.
Great value service and selection. Highly recommend.
Very good food and good flavors.
Stated that we were in no hurry, yet the appetizer / salad / entree all came out within minutes of each other. Waitress apologized, but did nothing about it. Food was OK, but not above average. Ambiance was very noisy with guests on each side very, very loud.
Service was very slow and the beer was not cold.
Awesome place! I've been there for breakfast and dinner and it is delicious. A hidden gem in west Ashley SC.
I came in with my family for restaurant week to try it out. Everything was great! Matt was our server and he was awesome! He was very pleasant and interacted with my kids. He recommended the braised beef off the menu and it was amazing! There were no complaints from my brood. We will go again!
I had a great brunch meal with my son and grandmother. We were in a booth, which was cozy and relatively quiet. The service was attentive. Eggs Benedict, Spinach Salad, Parmesan Grits, and Fried Chicken Biscuit were all delicious.
We've been quite a few times but food was terrible this time. Everything tasted frozen, processed, canned, etc. Which is not what we usually experience there. We actually sent our food back. It was busier and louder (a group at the bar when we came in who were surely over served, loud, using profanity) than normal but it was Saturday night and restaurant week. I will say, the manager immediately came over and apologized for the food quality. She seemed very genuine and took care of the food portion of our check (which we weren't looking for). Like I said, service and food is usually great. And the menu for restaurant week looked fantastic. I think the concept was great but execution failed. We'll for sure be back but sadly, this was the only place we did for restaurant week and it was a date night for my husband and I...we were terribly disappointed. Kudos for your normal wonderful service and food. And Kudos for the server and manager taking charge of the situation and making things right. Much appreciated!
Although the restaurant was not very busy, the service was not very good. Our server was very nice, but she seemed to disappear for long periods of time.
Excellent food - less than excellent service. Waitress didn't check on us much, and we waited an hour for food and finally got her attention to ask, she said they had 2, 12 tops in the back. Which is fine, I understand that places get busy, but as a former waitress, check on your other tables, and communicate to them what is happening so they don't think you forgot.
Because we were on a time crunch, explained this to her when we requested the checks, she again took forever to come back so we went to the bar to pay. The bartender was also less than speedy because she continued chatting with another customer while she ran our checks.
Again - the food was incredible! I will go again and give the service another shot because I know things happen, but overall, not very impressed.
The menu is fun and varied without being overwhelming and the food is fantastic. The dining room noise level can be high during busy times. Go to Ms. Rose’s hungry and save room for dessert!
First time visitor. We’ll be back. Food was very good. Short ribs were very tender. Wife liked the fish and baked potato. Desert cookies were great.
Went for New Years day brunch. Waiter was FANTASTIC! Food was GREAT! Been meaning to go there for a long time, GLAD WE FINALLY DID! We'll be back soon!
We had burgers, that were properly done. They were nice and juicy. I didn't realize what would be on top of the burger (My fault) so I had to pick off things to eat separately. I didn't particularly like the fries....weren't hot enough for my liking. It was really, really loud.....so if you're looking to have a quiet/private conversation, it will be difficult. But if I was with a large group, this would be a fun place. Our waiter was excellent, attentive without being intrusive.
Decided to give Ms Roses a try when visiting Charleston. Worth the trip.
Overall the food was very good. I have eaten brunch there several times but this was only my second visit for dinner. We enjoyed the dirty rice fritters and both of our meals. Happy hour had 2 dollar well drinks which is the best bargain in town. Our waiter was Cody and he was quite attentive and did a great job. Would recommend !!
Great spot for a casual dinner with family. The fried chicken is delicious. Everyone enjoyed their dishes and the service was excellent!
We love this restaurant!
