   Exceptional service yet again! I have never had bad service in this restaurant and I've been coming since I was 18 years old. I am now pushing 70. The only request I have is to bring back the old breadbasket and turn everything pink again, It was so classic! when it was pink. They have brought back the extraordinary raspberry pie, It is the best fruit dessert ANYWHERE! Very lightly sweetened, just enough to enhance the fruit but not too much to overpower the fruit. With super thin fragile crust, exquisite!

   The reason for my visit was to celebrate my birthday with friends. Of the five people at our table, I was the only one who had experienced Murray's exceptional food and excellent customer service (dozens of times in my life). I ordered the lobster tail with a baked potato and French onion soup. The soup was fantastic. My lobster took an additional 30 minutes, at least, to arrive to the table because it was somehow missed. I was told was "it will be another minute." "Just one more minute." Then someone else came out to apologize and said it shouldn't be more than 10-15 minutes. The explanation I received was that it was missed and they tried to "fire" one quickly and ended up overcooking it so they were making a new one. When the lobster tail finally arrived, I could tell by looking at it that it was overcooked. It was so tough the steak knife couldn't cut through it. I was not charged for the lobster and I am glad I didn't have to pay for it but left a little disappointed. Also, feedback for the restaurant, when refilling waters, don't pour over people. Three times my friend's suit jacket was dripped on because the person refilling waters was pouring across the table to get to the glass. My meal was interrupted by the water pouring as well when she reached across me to get to the person sitting next to me.

   The food was excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly. The ribeye was richly marbled but had a lot of tendons and gristle which made it very difficult to cut and chew. The Caesar salad and mushroom risotto were outstanding as well as the service. I would eat here again after trying 2 of the other steakhouses in downtown Minneapolis.

    We’ve been coming to Murray’s all our adult life, and always come when we are in town. We love it, and have never had a bad meal. Very expensive, but worth it.

    The Silver Butter Knife Steak for two was delicious! Maybe not the best cut you’ve ever had but if cooked well which ours was, it’s great for your first time. It also comes with sides which adds to the value since the other cuts come a la cart. The sides, French Onion Soup and complementary breads are amazing!

    A wonderful experience for a friend and I as we celebrated our birthdays together. We've done this for many years and were so glad to be able to go again after the Covid pandemic. I'm not going to wait for my birthday to go again.

    Joey was our waiter & he was outstanding! He made wonderful recommendations & we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. The food was fantastic & the espresso martini was delicious. 10/10 would dine here again & request Joey as our waiter!

    LOVE Murrays! The food is amazing. We celebrate all birthdays and special occasions here because the environment is great and the staff is outstanding! Dylan is an amazing server & Scott is so friendly and welcoming. 10/10 every single time, from the food, staff, and restaurant in general.

    Excellent ambience, friendly, kind and attentive service; and mouthwateringly delicious lunch offerings. The steak is served absolutely perfectly! Great downtown location for business meetings . Quiet sound level at the table yet bustling with activity at the front of the house.

    We went to Murray’s to celebrate Valentine’s Day -made our reservation in December as I knew it would book fast! Everything was incredible-the food, service, and atmosphere was perfect for our Valentine’s date. We got their about 20 minutes before our reservation and the host apologized for making us wait until our actual reservation time to be seated which was totally not necessary (we were super early and got seated promptly at 7:30). Our waiter Dennis was superb-even though the restaurant was crowded he made us feel like we were his only table. And the food! SO GOOD!!!!! We had the silver butter knife steak for 2 and it is honestly the best steak I’ve ever had. It was seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium rare, and it was melt in your mouth tender. We will definitely be back to Murray’s!
