Service was rather hit and miss but the food was good.
Always my favourite indian restaurant due to staff, food, drink and atmosphere.
The food is good and the menu has a few dishes not found in every Indian restaurant. Restaurant is spacious and the staff are helpful and obliging.
On friends recommendation we visited the restaurant for the first time with some other friends.
The staff were friendly and helpful, answering questions about the menu. The food was freshly cooked and delicious.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the restaurant to others.
A warning to the beer drinkers though, they only serve one beer, Cobra. They do have a selection of wines and fruit juices.
Waiters were rather disinterested and slow. Tikka was distinctly average. Other dishes reasonable. Expensive considering no starter and no alcohol. Will be a while before a revisit
Our first visit after I found this restaurant online.
We went here to celebrate my son's 27th birthday, three generations and we all agreed absolutely fabulous food and great value.
Customer service was excellent. We will all be going back very soon !!
WARM room. VERY WARM RECEPTION. excellent choice of very intersting meals. VERY GOOD heelpings.
FIirst rate taste.
lovely restaurant , service is always good and the food tastes fresh and the dishes taste different from each other. I especially like the wide range of choice for vegetarians
Excellent meal, good service without being fussy. The waiter took pity on me as I didn't have a starter and produced a smaller starter free of charge! Good ambience and both my children really enjoyed their meals too😄
The staff were too busy chatting and when they did take our order it took forever to arrive. The food was disappointing as was the whole experience.
I have been working away in the Midlands for 2 years and returned with my wife and best friends for the best curry locally. Good to be back and see the standards are the same.
This is the third time ive been to this restaurant, they never cease to fail. Great food, great service and they don't rush you which is really nice. I would recommend this to anyone in the area.
Enjoyed several meals here. Signature dishes are very special and very flavoursome. Waiters can advise.
I have been back to this restaurant and it was very good as always. The staff are very attentive, the food is excellent and great value. The only let down is they charge a very high price for the poppadums' and the condiments so best to avoid. Most Indian restaurants have these as complementary.
The food and service is still good but the restaurant is now in desperate need of refurbishment. The wall paper is lifting in the main restaurant and the gents toilet is in poor repair with water leaks and the wall paper is held on by brown tape. When you see things like this it worries me as to the state of the kitchens.
Sorry we will not be back again.
This is the second time my husband and I have eaten at Mystica and it was yet again a lovely evening. They do a £14 menu options which is super value, we always have to get the food packed as we cant finish it.
The food is very good and well cooked and the service is impeccable. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
Went to Mystica to celebrate birthday, group of 6 of us. Staff were attentive and helpful. Menu choices were spot on. The staff were also so friendly. The overall ambience is spot on. The prices including our drinks was very reasonable and we all left very full up!!
The staff bought a cake and sang happy birthday too which was a really nice touch. Would recommend.
We booked for a child's Birthday treat on a Saturday lunchtime. Everyone in a party of 5 including vegetarians found the choice good & the food well cooked & presented.
We had a lovely meal riding from the special offer menu which was a starter, main and side for £14. The food was excellent, the waiters were very attentive and chatty and there was a really nice buzzy atmosphere in the restaurant.
The only down side is the price, they charge £1 per popadom which is outrageous considering you can buy a pack for £1. We complained about this so they dropped the price to 75p which, quite frankly, is still outrageous. They also charge extra for the chutneys that come with the popadoms! My husband who is Sikh couldn't believe this and complained again and they gave us the chutney free.
We will definitely go back but will not get the popadoms and chutney and will choose from the offers menu.
Mystica is much smarter than your average Indian restaurant, with modern, up-market decor. The food is generally excellent, with a good selection of 'signature dishes' all deserving of the name. We have been half a dozen times before. Usually, the service is good, attentive without being over-bearing. This time, the staff were in a world of their own, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. The waiters were polite when they appeared, but drinks took ten minutes to appear from ordering; there was a long wait between starters and mains; the bill had to be requested twice; and, as no waiter seemed to want to bring a card reader, we ended up paying with cash rather than card simply in order to leave. It was a shame: Mystica normally does better than this. I will still go back. Hopefully, this review will prompt a return to the previous high standards.
Once again, a wonderful meal with friends at Mystica. We took advantage of the 2 dine for £20 offer and got great value for money on top of excellent food.
This restaurant has a lovely ambience and the food is excellent. The staff are generally very friendly too.
superb food and very good service, recommend the special dishes
Mystica is the best place to eat if you're local to Weybrige or Addlestone. The food is outstand and mix starter is a must have when you're choosing what to eat.
Id recommend it to anyone
Always A star service and food. Easy street parking. Roomy with nice round and oval tables.
Great service and food. Plenty of room with some nice round tables. Easy street parking.
I entertained two Business colleagues who agreed that they would travel some distance - One had come from Portsmouth Area- to sample the delights of this fine Restaurant again. We all agreed that the food was excellent and the service attentive but not overbearing. I will definitely return with my Family at some point soon as the whole experience was a good one.
We haven't been in nearly two years as moved away. We went last week, it was outstanding. Food was amazing. Really enjoyed myself.
Great food well presented comfortable atmosphere. Easy to book on-line, reception at restaurant excellent. Round table always a winner.
We had really great food, fresh and delicious
, superb service. Looking foreward to returning..
All in all superb lunch!!!
Great food, great choice very good service really enjoyed our first visit, will definitely be back .
I was expecting a very good meal based on what has been written about this restaurant and the starter was indeed excellent. The wait between courses was ridiculous and the main was poor and bland. we had to wait an hour between starter and main and there was no apology when it did finally show up. We will not be returning.
We have been to Mystica several times and have never been disappointed. There is a wide choice on the menu, including vegetarian options, and the restaurant signature dishes are excellent. The environment is relaxed but good quality. The staff are all very friendly, attentive and ready to offer advice if requested. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Indian food.
Really fabulous food, staff always knowledgeable to offer advice and recommendations
the new dishes are amazing especially the Bangalore with spring onions !!!
Absolutely scrummy, great evening, Well done Mystica !!!
the food is always good at Mystica and on New Years eve they had a £20 pp deal which was good as you could still choose your main. Mystica is always lovely to go to for a special occasion as the indian food is good quality and the atmosphere is lovely with modern decor. The staff are always attentive but as it was New Years eve they were very busy and not so attentive as usual as the restaurant was packed. The set price menu was very good with generous mixed starters your own choice of main plus side dishes and breads. The price included popadoms and dips too. It was nice to be in a restaurant where you didn't feel rushed to finish as is sometimes the case on New Years eve and we stayed for 2 ½ hours.
We've eaten here numerous times now since moving to the area in August and this restaurant has never let us down.
The food is amazing and the service excellent.
Recommended by foodie friends Mystica was everything they had told us. Having just returned form three weeks in India we wanted to enjoy a curry and as our friends are somewhat experts in this type of cuisine naturally we took their advice.
Excellent food, cooked and served with a desire to provide a high standard of eating experience. Well done
Yet again a great meal at my favourite Indian restaurant.
Very good chat with the owner about his future plans.
Food, service etc all first class.
We have been to this restaurant many times and as per usual everything was fantastic and we will be coming back soon!
Fair enough I attended on a Saturday just before the rush but it increasingly got noisier and stayed noisy, I feel that there were no barriers or pillars in the way to stop the noise from dispersing. Also the lack of music or ambient noise made the chatter of other people overwhelming. However the food was amazing and the service of the food was impeccable, the bombay potatoes were not spicy at all, which was a shame as I ordered a mild curry so I needed a touch of spice for extra flavour and complexity although they were still good. The dessert of raspberry and mango had a weird 'sorbet' taste (not tangy or sour) and hard to eat (as on a curved plate).
Will defiantly visit restaurant again but know what not to order next time.
