We were promptly greeted when we arrived for our reservation. Our table was outside which was our request when we made our reservation. Lauren, our server was very friendly and efficient. I ordered the Salmon Salad. The salad was delicious with fresh strawberries, pecans, asparagus and zucchini bread. The children’s meals of chicken tenders and French fries were amazing. We were very happy with our meals and our attentive server. I highly recommend Grindstone on the Monon for a nice dinner.

Never disappointed!! Service was impeccable! Our waiter was prompt, courteous and guided us through our selections included an outstanding blueberry bread pudding. I had my Italian House standard, the spaghetti with meatballs, consistently delicious every time. The two ladies each had lasagna and both raved saying it was the best they’d ever had. Per the recommendation of our waiter, they each had half vodka sauce and half marinara sauce. And the other husband had chicken Parmesan and like the rest of us was very pleased with his selection. My wife and I started out with the house salad…..fantastic homemade Italian dressing and our friends shared the roasted beet salad. Our only disappointment was mother natures fault. The rain prevented us from enjoying the fantastic out door patio, but the interior ambiance more than made up for it. Italian House on Park is our “go to” restaurant when we want a special evening with outstanding foods.

The food and service was fantastic! We got the fajitas three way and it was outstanding!

This was our first time actually eating dinner at Cake Bake so we were excited to try it. We love the cakes, pies and other tasty offerings in the bakery so we decided to have a nice night with friends to try out the food. We ordered two appetizers, one was the baked fontina cheese and the truffle pomme fritas. I can’t eat cheese, but my husband and friends said it was good. The truffle fries were great as well. Three of us orders the steak frites and my friend’s husband ordered the crab cakes. Two of us asked for medium rare and one of us asked for medium. They all came out medium, which was fine & we all asked for different sides since we already were getting
