This was my first indoor dining experience since Covid and I could not have felt safer! We love Nantuckets for its service, food, and atmosphere. Susie is exceptional and the staff went out of their way to make us feel safe and welcomed. Nothing but the best recommendation!
Not as good as I remembered a few years ago. Maybe my expectations were too high - but, I was underwhelmed. My wife loved the oysters on the half - her favorite part of the meal. Everything else was very good - just not great. The server was excellent - but, my wife's wine glass had soap residue in it - that you could both see and smell. Returned and replaced.
Very good as always! Ambience and service a little compromised by current conditions but definitely not the great food.
The staff was super friendly and the food was excellent. Will definitely return to Nantucket’s.
Nantucket was a pleasant surprise. Nice dining near Ocean City. Lamb was cooked perfectly. Top notch service! I will definitely visit again if in the area.
Nantucket’s is a great local restaurant. Good atmosphere, good food and great people. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants a consistent friendly location for good food and a great location.
Dinner was wonderful. Service was great. We were celebrating multiple occasions birthday, anniversary etc. Highly recommend the Oysters Rockefeller and the Encrusted Filet. If not that hungry try the chowder, field of greens or the kabobs. Treat yourself and enjoy.
Loved this restaurant. Enjoyed GF duck, hard to find. It was delicious. Nice ambience, and great friendly service by Terry. Will definitely have dinner here again.
Great food , attentive waiter. Meal served hot, and generous portions.
great food, service, and atmosphere. unique cocktail menu
Our server, Suzy, was excellent. Meals were delicious. One of our favorite restaurants in the area.
Great server Sherry!
I enjoyed the chowder but think it is a little pricey for what you get. I also ordered the shrimp and grits. It was good but too spicy for me which is my problem not the problem of the restaurant. My friend got the duck salad that looked delicious and another friend got the soft crab BLT which also looked good. they were happy with their food. We enjoyed the backed brie and our desserts. All in all a happy experience but again I think the chowder is overpriced.
Eat in the Taproom. Organized for Covid. Good waitstaff, great chowdah! Nice menu and HR prices until six.
Our Table was not ready at our reservation time It was almost 20 mins late
Celebrated a birthday. Dinner was fabulous as always!
Everything was basic. Nothing special for the price.
Great!! As always
Hostess Terry was the bomb! Lobster roll was banging! Frozen perfect for a lite weight like myself. Be adventurous and try the blood orange. I had a wonderful birthday dinner!
Easy to make reservation when we wanted. Food excellent and server (Susie) was knowledgeable and helpful.
Great meal. Will come back!
My 2 friends were happy. The rack of lamb was the worst entree I ever experienced. No meat. All bone and fat. So bad that I wish I had told the waitress. It cost $34. It wasn’t worth 34 cents.
Even with social distancing was a little louder than I hoped for. Food was good, service outstanding and prices were incredible. We had to settle for an early reservation, 5:30 so our wine and apps were billed at Happy Hour Prices!
Our anniversary favorite. Nantucket’s never disappoints!
We dine at this restaurant regularly because we always have great food and great service. I enjoy a salad that is no longer on the menu, but the staff is always happy to make it for me. Nice variety of choices on the menu.
We were looking for a place that offered a bit more of a dining experience than typically offered at beach restaurants or seafood shacks. Nantucket’s exceeded our expectations with their food, drink and ambiance.
First, tough decision on choosing from their enticing list of a House Cocktail - landed on the Mango Resistance (which might have been quite appropriately named in this political climate). It was a tasty, satisfying unique cocktail; so many house/specialty cocktails miss the mark and this one nailed it.
Chose the scallop appetizer; today’s recipe was pecan crusted. 3 large scallops were presented on a bed of sautéed spinach. Great presentation and the butter/oil sauce was bread worthy.
We split a Cranberry and Pecan Field salad. Nice touch with the house roasted brown sugar pecans - very generous portions of the pecans, cranberries and goat cheese. Nice house made dressing.
I had the fish of the day, which was grilled halibut with a drizzled cream sauce, served with risotto and seasoned green beans. The fish was very slightly overcooked but the taste was tremendous. The side dishes were very good. My wife had the pan roasted breast of duckling. Cooked perfectly at medium rare, the duck was not fatty at all and was moist and tasty. And it was a very sizable portion, especially when combined with the baby red potatoes and asparagus spears served as sides.
Our server, Sherry, did a really nice job efficiently taking care of us and answering our questions. The drinks and courses were served in a steady, but relaxed pace.
Regarding COVID, all staff were wearing masks. Good social distancing in the restaurant achieved with table removal. Next trip back, I hope that COVID is gone so that we could hang in the bar area and check out those great appetizers on their menu plus a house cocktail or three. Nice job, Nantucket’s.
We sat outside on the deck, which was not crowded. I had salmon with olives, artichoke hearts, and mashed potatoes. My son had a cheeseburger and crab dip. The service and food were both excellent! We will go again!
Always have delicious food. Had halibut with mushroom risotto. Chris our waiter was very professional, and friendly. We like to sit in the bar area
Bar was closed off due to Covid but it
was still enjoyable. One of the best places to eat in the area.
We have enjoyed this restaurant for over 20 years. The food and service are always excellent.
We wet to Nantucket’s for our anniversary dinner. We were seated immediately even though we were early. We ordered the scallops of the day. No matter how they are prepared this is the best appetizer scallops I have ever had. They are cooked perfectly. We split a Caesar salad that was ver good. I had the filet with side lobster and my husband had the prime rib of pork. Both were delicious and cooked to our liking. We finished with a fresh blueberry peach cobbler with ice cream. Delicious! I recommend Nantucket’s for an everyday meal to a special occasion. We have eaten here many times. We have never been disappointed especially during happy hour.
Great food and service. Never disappoints
Our reservation was not available, after waiting for 30 minutes a different type table in another part of the restaurant was offered as they could not estimate when our reservation would be available. Disappointed. Food and service was great but not managed well.
Sat outside due to convid unfortunately this won’t be an option after cii hi covid they had to get special permission
Accounts for noise level because right on coastal highway
Food was delicious good service Sherry did a good job
Would recommend for food and service
Great service! Wonderful menu and wine selections. Perfect spot for a romantic dinner or family celebration.
Sherri was our server and she was excellent. She followed the steps of service down to a tee. Bottle presentation was superb, down to checking in on us as well as the manager. Food was excellent and would definitely recommend to friends. Will be back as well.
What a wonderful fine dining experience. This lovely, albeit a touch dark, fine dining resturant was just the thing for a mother daughter dinner. We started with the baked brie which was delcious! I had the rockfish special which was out of this world, super flavorful and a big, thick cut of fish. My daughter had the salad with roast duck which she loved. We were too full to enjoy dessert, but we'll be back to do that another time. Our server Suzy was very good and attentive, but didn't hover. A truly excellent dining experience.
Very good service.. Unfortunately bar area was closed due to virus
We had dinner here for our anniversary. We had a 7.00pm reservation but were not seated until about 7.15. Our server, Suzie, was was very attentive to us. I had the halibut special for my entrée and the lobster mac and cheese as an appetizer. My wife had the PEI mussels for her appetizer and the NY strip for her entrée. I found the halibut to be a bit bland, but the other items were delicious. There was plenty of lobster meat in the mac and cheese. The atmosphere was great for a quiet dinner to celebrate our anniversary.
Nantuckets' staff needs to learn how to say "we're sorry". We had a reservation, our table wasn't ready; instead of "we're sorry, can we offer you a drink", we got: "you're running ahead of us, you can wait outside". My wife ordered a drink, it took a long time to arrive. Instead of "we're sorry", we got an excuse: '"one of our servers broke some glasses and we had to was more." My meal was bad, WAY too much salt, I could barely eat any of it. instead of the server saying "I'm so sorry, can I get you something else", he said: 'Well cajun food can be a little salty." I said "I've had a lot of cajun food, this is way too salty." he said: 'That's understandable". HUH? I think it was his way of saying "you're entitled to your opinion." Will not be back anytime soon.
Celebrating my birthday and my mother’s birthday with family. Never a disappointment. Terrific meal terrific service.
