Clonakilla is a worthy vineyard to try a great Riesling and Shiraz (note there are other types but these are my favourites). All the wines border on the lighter side and offer a lot of up front taste. Only the Riesling, Shiraz and their Signature Shiraz offer a longer finish. This style is refreshing and subtle, also typical of the region. The hosts are always friendly and the ambience both inside and outside on the wrap around veranda are worth a trip. Note they do not offer any food, it’s tasting only

Good pub, good food. Quiet restaurant which is great.

We had such a lovely meal- after a long day travelling it was so nice to have a short walk to dinner! Our two children inhaled their pasta (smelt delicious!) and I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken schnitty with a fab side salad and husband his steak. Lovely friendly service- so glad it was recommended to us.

We have long wished to have fine dining within a short distance of where we live, and this hit the mark perfectly! The venue is superbly relaxed and inviting, the staff and service excellent, interactive and friendly. However, the food is beyond compare, excellent food that one would normally only experience in the finest of restaurants. From the starters, though to the dessert the chef and the team provided a superb dining experience. We have been back several times and will continue to do so, quality, value and a fantastic dining experience all provided in the one package. Thank you!
