Table for 8 by the window for a birthday on a Wednesday. Great service. Food quality and plating was excellent. My adult kids were impressed and said they would come back!

I found J's Restaurant and Winery while looking for a midpoint between my NH location and Rhode Island, and it turned out to be the perfect spot for a business lunch with 3 people — not too far off Rt. 495. The location is charming, with outdoor seating and grounds to explore, and the inside was lovely as well. We started with drinks: two of us had the local Chardonnay and one had the Sparkling Wine, both light and a great match for lunch. For food, two of us got the soup and half sandwich (short rib and turkey), and one had the Chili Poblano grilled cheese — all full of flavor. We finished by splitting two desserts, the Olive Oil cake and the apple caramel tart, both excellent. Service was excellent and well-timed, and the staff were attentive throughout. We all agreed we want to come back and try more of the menu. Thank you to everyone at the restaurant!

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at Out of the Woods in celebration of our anniversary. We ordered the octopus appetizer, the cheese board and 2 entrees, the halibut with a pistachio crust and the duck breast with strawberry. Everything was impeccably prepared and presented. We’ll definitely be back before our next anniversary.

Consistently great experience at Oak & Orchard. We were eating light, and it was still just perfect! My mom had the crab cake appetizer and I had the always delightful Orchard Melt. Cocktails were creative and delicious, and the peanut butter pie was the perfect ending! We had one of our favorite servers again, Bregan (sp?) who is always fun, enthusiastic and attentive. Always one of our go-to restaurants!
