   Our waitress was wonderful. I would give the food a four out of five. We were there for a business meeting so they sat us in a quiet area and took good care of us.

   We were told to seat ourselves. It was a while before anyone came to help us. Two of the napkins at our table were dirty. We just got some off of another table. We finally got service. I would have rated service higher if we would have been acknowledged sooner. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. They just needed more people working. I was not impressed with the food or the ambiance, especially for the price.

   It was Valentines Day and I decided to go with a friend to have dinner. I know it was ridiculous to expect to find a place worth making a reservation for, but this place sounded decent enough. I was surprised in so many ways, none of them good. I pulled in the parking lot and saw that the restaurant is attached to a run-down Wyndam motel. I walked to the entrance to the motel and went in and was met with a construction zone and was not able to move gorward due to caution tape. There were no signs, so ai did’t know where to go. I went back outside and walked to the other end of the structure, only to find a loading dock. I called the phone number and was told to enter through the motel entrance and I explained that i had and there were no signsnor instructions on how to get to the reataurant. The guy told me where to go and I eventually ended up walking half the perimeter of thw inside halls on the Wyndam to find the entrance to the restaurant. It was 5:45 and the place was almost completely empty. The small tables were old and a German-looking wooden style, the waitress rolled her eyes at me when i tried smashing the thin lemon slices to add to my water, as well as when i ordered chicken parmesan without the spaghetti. She looked at me with a look of wuestion on her face and cocked her head sideways. I felt compelled to divulge that I am a diabetic and I can’t eat pasta, the breaded chicken was a stretch in itself. Only then did she let it go! The caprese salad would have been ok, without the grossly strong flavor of balsamic vinegar gone sour. I couldnt eat it. When the assistant came and took it away, i said nothing about it being bad. There were 5 or 6 entrees and 5 or 6 pasta choices on the menu. They seemed to only have a couple of different additions to their entrees - mushroom risotto, garlic bread triangle and side salad. They offer more appetizers than entrees. I wanted to give some detail because i DO NOT recommend this restaurant.

   This place is not good by any means. How this place is listed on open table is pretty funny cause we were looking for something different and it sure was. We didn't finish the food it was so bad. We left after my wife had trouble cutting through her meatballs. No joke they refused to be cut. So it was listed on open table for romantic events or something to that effect. We'll we make a reservation amd when we get there the place is empty. Only workers. One guy says to sit anywhere if that want painfully obvious. Just found it strange that this place would be on here. We tried to make the best of it amd didn't complain cause hey the server didn't make the food but nothing about this place is any shap or form Italian or fine dining. I guess it my fault for wanting to branch out but please aware cause some of these places are misleading. Just like some of them hotel apps. I would say the best thing about it was the rum and cokes but even thar was cheap coke and Barton rum. Idk what else to say but good luck if you stumble across this place. I tried the chicken parmasan and my wife had the spaghetti and meatballs. We tried to keep it simple given what we were looking at and it wasn't good.

   Bailed out of Birthday dinner downtown without reservations and made a line for Nicolino's with a 7pm reservation. We dined in the lounge on apps and pizza with salad. The food was good and the service was superior. Bartender and servers stopped multiple times to check on us. Very nice experience!

    Eight of us met after a sporting event. Difficult given the season and worker shortage. This hotel restaurant was great for our needs. Our server was great and we were seated in a quiet room that only had two tables for eight, so we had it to ourselves most of the time. Food was fine, service was impeccable, atmosphere was great. Not five-star food, but good for the price and everything else was great. We will go back as a couple to the bar area for ball games, to be sure.

    We arrived for our reservation and were told that they were closed but they would make us food to go. As we were 40 minutes from home this wasn’t a good option for us. It was too late to go anywhere else. Very disappointed in their lack of service.

    We had reservations for 7pm on Valentines day. We showed up at 6:30(early yes) and didn't say anything until like 6:55 because there were a few couples ahead of us anyways. We find out that the 2 couples ahead had a 6:30 and 6:45 reservations. Walked up to the bar and asked one of the two employees that we saw the entire time and he apologizes and says they are a bit behind. In no way is this the employees their fault as they were woefully understaffed on again, VALENTINES DAY. At around 7:15 none of us had been sat still and my date and I left for another place. I cannot speak to the food however it was ridiculous to be this understaffed and by the time we left 2 other couples had arrived behind us. I would highly recommend going somewhere else. Never again

    The restaurant is not open right now due to COVID. Only the Lounge is open. The bartender was very nice and friendly. We were out on a date and expecting a nice Italian restaurant, not a lounge. We may have to try it if it ever opens back up.

    It's Valentine's Day, easily the worst day of the year to be in food service. When we arrived our poor server was splitting her time waiting tables, bussing tables, setting tables, and running the host stand. When we say the service was bad, the food was slow, and the kids seated next to us were going out of their minds from boredom; it's not because of the staff who were clearly working hard to make the best of a tough situation. But, if I'm honest, I wouldn't recommend eating here, especially if you plan to make a destination of it.

    DO NOT DEPEND ON THE MENU ONLINE!!! We arrived and had to call the restaurant to send a hostess as we stood at the host podium watching waitresses walk back and forth from the kitchen. The menu we were given looked nothing like it did online and when we asked the waitress laughed and just said that they have not had that menu in a long time. No apology.... Never again.

    We had a reservation and did not get seated for twenty minutes later, because there wasn’t even a hostess at the stand. Finally got seated and literally never had anyone come to the table for 20 more minutes. We had to stop a worker walking by and ask for a server to get us drinks. Food was ok, nothing special. Never got refills. Will not go back.

    I made a reservation for my lunch group of 3, walked over only to be told at the time of arriving, that it was cash only and that they were only serving the buffet. highly upset, the young lady that confirmed my reservation when I called, could have given this information.

    Booked the Valentines Package. The manager, Jamie, and our server Stacey were awesome!! Took the time to talk a little and really made us feel special. Table was decorated for Valentine’s Day and was great. Jamie and Stacey are awesome! We will definitely return regularly for the great food and especially to see our new friends.

    Apparently because of other commitments, they were offering a dinner buffet which featured chicken piccata and roast beef. I got two pieces of the chicken, one of which tasted rancid. In addition, the sauce was tasteless, and the succotash was pretty unappealing. I also ordered the crème brûlée, which is supposed to be a custard beneath a sugar crust. The crust was okay, but the custard was juicy and pretty unappealing

    Best restaurant on the west side. I eat here often. Midweek lunch buffet always perfect for entertaining clients. Dinner menu very good. Great menu and food. Comfortable place and easy to have conversations at table. Love this place!

    We got to the restaurant for our reservation and found that it was closed. We had to find someone to talk to and finally was told they would seat us and the menu would be the same. When they sat us down they gave us menus for the pub grub and didn’t come back for 10 minutes. We got up and left. We will never be going back again there! If the restaurant is closed you should not accept the reservation!

    We came in and meet people from out of town, my husband had a few drinks in our hotel room and then we order a round of beers at the table and then he was given a dirty fork so he went to the bar and asked for a clean one and the bartender was quite ride and cut him off from drinking, not even given time to drink his first beer. We also spent 100$. Never will i go again.

    Open table allowed a dining time past the closure of the actual restaurant and only pub area was open. While the menu offerings were the same the ambiance was clearly not. Staff seem distressed an decor was old and dated

    We had a reservation at 7pm. When we arrived at 7 we were told to wait 10 minutes, but a very unfriendly host. 30 minutes later, we finally were seated without menus. After a 15 minute wait on the server to come to our table for the first time, we finally had menus at 7:45. We ordered and our $40 was way overcooked (well done, and we ordered it as medium). The sides were ice cold (mashed potatoes and broccoli). We sent it back and it took roughly 25 minutes to get our food the second time. We asked for a box and left without eating our entire meal, because we just had to leave. Our reservation was at 7, and we didn't leave until after 9 without eating.; This was a terrible experience and we will never be back to this restaurant.

    Restaurant had a special menu but failed to Offer ordering off the menu unless you asked. The wait staff was a little short for the occasion and service suffered. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was tastefully done.

    Food was excellent and service was ok. Those working tied but they were tasked with covering more than humanly possible given the limited number of wait staff present. Staffed properly and this could be a really good option for those wanting to get a meal onsite or as a destination for locals trying to avoid the city bustle and parking charges.

    The food and service at Nicolino's was outstanding. We made a dinner reservation for 4:30. The website said that dinner began at 4:00. We expect dinner to be in a dining room at a restaurant of this caliber. When we arrived the bartender told us that the dining room didn't open until 5:00. We sat in the bar and it was very noisy. As I stated, the food and service was fine, but we were disappointed to not be in a quiet dining room. The Wyndham needs to correct their website and modify Opentable so that dinner reservations are not offered that cannot be accommodated in a dining room.

    Several of the elements of each dish were great, but at the same time the remainder were very bad. It bills itself as an Italian restaurant, and has many pictures about the life and history of its founder but only two dishes were even close to being Italian. For instance the goat cheese 'fondue' had great flavor but was so runny it was like a thin cream sauce, unlike any fondue we had ever seen before. Their bread is GREAT, both as an general accompaniment, and as crostini for the 'fondue'. Both the salmon and bass filets were done exceptionally well but the accompanying vegetables were so bold as to totally overpower them.
