food was so very good!
Really friendly service. Thanks
Last meal before wretched lock down - good food and under the circumstances good atmosphere
I love this place, and have done for a long time.
In these “new times” I was pleased to see how well they have adapted - on a hygiene and distancing level.
On to the food - the menu has changed somewhat since I was last there, and I was disappointed to see a few favourites (Valencian carrots and baklava) were no longer on offer, but the pierogi was a welcome addition.
As always, I had a great evening - I find the Norfolk Arms to be warm and welcoming, with the loveliest staff, and I always leave happy and almost too full
Great ambience! Good food, cheap drinks. Definitely will visit again.
Delicious food and lovely staff as ever. Would recommended.
Lush food, clean and safe. Service impeccable. Love it! Thanks for a brilliant afternoon.
Absolutely lovely people delivering fantastic food at reasonable prices. we will be back!
Menu is shorter than before - friend's fish was really good, my prawns were tasty but other small plates probably just straight from jar. Wine expensive by the glass - perhaps our waiter could have suggested sharing a bottle instead. Pleasant and quite quiet compared to how it used to be, although we did ask them to turn the music down!
It's a nice place to meet up, but not as great as it could be.
Lovely tapas and fantastic service. Our waitress was great, really attentive, helpful and knowledgable. The menu isn't massive, but everything is done well. Mostly tapas classics like Patatas Bravas, Gambas al Ajillo, Chorizo in Cider etc. Good wine list, we had a delicious bottle of Cava. It's only a short walk from Kings Cross St Pancras, but a lot less crowded than the places right by the station or in Granary Square/ Coal Drops Yard etc.
We were given a table outside on a tree lined street, but with wide pavements and little to no traffic. So we were out in the fresh air, which was great.
The service was swift and friendly.
I ate the salmon fillet dish, which was perfectly cooked.
Very tasty tapas, simple and relaxed setting, friendly service.
Ideal venue for a gastropub night. Outdoors sitting is particularly good. Highly recommend.
An excellent selection of tapas. I recommend the artichokes and spinach pie but everything is very tasty. Service very friendly and efficient.
Netter Pub mit Austern und Champagner. Trotzdem zwanglos. Schöne Tapas Karte. Leider kam die warme Hauptspeise schon, als die Vorspeise noch nicht mal zur Hälfte gegessen war. Aber insgesamt empfehlenswert.
I have been a number of times. Mostly the food has been good. I just find the noise levels difficult. There is a room upstairs which is much quieter, but unfortunately it is not always available. The staff are friendly and work hard.
Great food and good service in a good old fashioned pub
On Friday night was busy and happy atmosphere. Typical Victorian pub turned pub/restaurant. Mix of after work and locals. We had a small plate starter to share and a fine mackerel. Will go again.
Poor hygiene. The guy handling everything else also cut the bread without gloves or washing hands.
Bread was white and uninteresting.
Service added without being stated in the menu card.
Wine was absolutely not as described.
No, it wasn't a good visit.
Great place to meet friends for a lively atmosphere and good food.
Great spot.love the food ambience everything. Not much else to say really
Brilliant - as always! Fantastic range of interesting food
Very high level pub food in a cheery central London pub. Can't go wrong with this combination of good food, beer, wine, cheer.
Wonderful food. Great recommendations from the staff. Would definitely visit again.
It's a really nice place to meet friends for a something to eat. Service is good, cheerful, food is excellent and reasonably priced. It's a buzzy atmosphere, but not overwhelmingly loud.
Booked this for a meet up with 3 friends and really enjoyed it. Service was excellent with the staff going out of their way to accommodate our requests. Atmosphere was good - not too loud, not too quiet and the food was great. Pictures of the interior don't do it justice. Would definitely go back.
Really interesting selection of tapas. Attentive service. All round very good. Looking forward to returning.
Excellent range of tapas dishes great including exciting innovative combinations. Very good and attentive service.
Nice food which arrived hot and in good time
Great service in this busy tapas bar. Food is wonderful and great atmosphere when we were in on a wet Friday night. Highly recommend for a place to get together with friends.
A good range of high quality Tapas dishes at a reasonable price. Not enough Pitta bread to go with the generous portion of hummus so had to order some more.
The main issue was they had no record of my booking made through open table, so not a good start when you say you have booked a table. I did get a table and the food and service were good. it gets a little noisy as it gets fuller and you can find yourself raising your voice to be herd. overall a great place to meet and eat
The food was extremely good but overpriced for what it was. The noise (without many people there) was overbearing. The service was lacklustre.
A great meal, gorgeous food and wine. Excellent draft ales - a gem of a pub. Totally authentic London experience 👍
Reasonably priced and tasty tapas in a rustic setting. Service was very efficent. Good for a quiet night out.
Outstanding and varied tapas choices. And days later my 12-year old daughter is still talking about her squid-ink seafood tagliatelle as one of the best things she’s ever eaten. Friendly unobtrusive service and good drinks selection.
Good food in a nice ambience with pleasant and efficient staff
Really enjoyed our first trip to this restaurant!
The tapas (Spanish, Greek etc) were delicious.
Service very efficient.
Will definitely return.
I LOVE the food here - I have brought so many people over years for yummy tapas, but the service worsens each time I go! Not greeted on arrival, takes time to get someone to show us to table, time to get the bill, and there's an impatient attitude that doesn't give welcoming vibes. This place could be such a wonderful experience. Thank goodness for the goats cheese balls!
This was my first visit to the Norfolk Arms. It was busy (Friday night) and buzzing. Despite the workload, the staff were pleasant and efficient. The food was good quality pub fare. I had tapas - prawns (delicious), ribs (also delicious) and the Dorset Crab starter (a bit too spicy, which meant that the subtle flavour of the crab was over-whelmed). Pudding was salted caramel ice cream rolled in sesame seeds. Odd combination, but it (sort of) worked. My companions had mackerel and chicken respectively. The former was reported to be excellent; the later slightly over-cooked (and therefore chewy). On balance, a very pleasant evening - will go back.
I enjoyed the relaxed, friendly atmosphere, the good quality of all dishes and the service. The lamb skewers were tender and flavourful. There was a grilled goat cheese salad which had me making notes so that I can make it at home - everything was delicately chopped and the combination of fine crunchy greens with quinoa and even toasted hazelnuts was delicious. The house hummus was as good as it gets in my book. It is important to book for evening tables, especially from Thursday on, as this is a popular place and not so very large. Nice collection of people seem to be regulars.
