Our waitress was wonderful and attentive. The food was okay, kind of small portions for the prices. Given it is a chain in an area with many good small restaurants with better portions and prices we wouldn’t likely return unless we had another gift card.

Good food, plenty of choices. Went for birthday celebration.

The sauce on the spaghetti with the chicken parmesan had no taste. It was blah.

The waitress was polite and very quick alway checking if we were good. The food was amazing and the portions were pretty big everyone took food home. Will definitely be back.

Apparently replacing other things with pasta is how they're saving money, but we went there specifically because my wife liked the non-pasta Bolognese that they used to sell, and I liked the Jambalaya. They replaced the zoodles and rice with pasta, which neither of us wanted. Food was also very bland.

I usually enjoy dining at NYAJ’s. The “special” turkey dinner was good except for the thick, fatty skin that I had to remove before eating. There once was a chicken pot pie and a chicken on a skewer with an apple cider sauce that I loved! Would be great to bring those two dishes back on the menu. Thank you!

Jambalaya pasta was delicious. As always, pre meal bread and olive oil was a treat. Fun cocktail selection and seasonal offerings

The wait staff were absolutely wonderful and couldn’t help us enough. The food was delicious

We enjoyed our meal at NYAJ and I recommend it to others.

Service was not what we have had in the past

It’s a little expensive for a chain restaurant but the food is decent and the staff is always nice and courteous!

Under the circumstances (Covid-19) my husband & I felt very comfortable and safe there. Our waitress was very upbeat & pleasant and the service was excellent!!

This is one of my favorite places to eat!

My wife ordered the lobster bisque and she said it definitely did not taste like lobster bisque. She said it tasted like tomato soup with a metalic taste left in her mouth, she tried 3 spoonfulls and we sent it back, this is one item NYAJ's MUST remove from their menu, it is not fit for sale and it is not anywhere near their fantastic food values that we have become accustomed to when we dine there. The rest of our meals were , as always, very delicious. The service was great, we had Nina.

I have been here several times before the Covid. This time was very disappointing. Food was ok, barely saw our waitress. When you are paying for an entree at $21, not including the cost of drink and appetizer you expect better service.

The service was excellent. The food was great!

Great meal, they were totally COVID safe, clear request that everyone should wear masks when not at the table. I loved my pesto swordfish steak over butternut squash risotto!

Chicken was very dry.

We always have a good experience at NYAJ and this weekend was no different. It was the first time we had eaten indoors at a restaurant since March and everything was safe and organized.

Sat in the new enclosed tent a little noisy with Rte 6 right there but was fine the waitress was outstanding had the pork schnitzel it was great wasn’t a fan of the potato cake

The service was great, we were one of the few parties there but she was very attentive. The food however was such a disappointment. We have been here many times and it seems to get worse each time. The salmon was smothered in pesto and the risotto was terrible. The shrimp scampi was a small portion and loaded with capers and very run of the mill spaghetti. We were disappointed in the meals and will likely not keep coming back. It was $170.00 for 2 bad meals and 3 average ones.

A little on the pricy side at times, but still a very good restaurant with the best bread and great gluten free options.

It was enjoyable. I liked my food, especially the mouse cake. My friend did not like her lobster bisque. I had a $15 off coupon as a birthday gift which was great. The bread is phenomenal.

Patio dining. A bit noisy because of traffic but otherwise delightful. Mustard crusted chicken was quite tasty as was the haddock. Our server Nina was awesome. I recommend asking for her!

Our server was utterly awful. I hate to write a bad review about a server, but she couldn't have been less interested in working. Took forever to come to our table. Asked for napkins and never got them. Never offered to refill our drinks. Would absolutely disappear for long periods of time while we sat there and waited. She couldn't even pretend to care. Mind you the restaurant was pretty empty so there was no reason for her to keep disappearing.

Additionally, I wrote in our review that it was my boyfriend's birthday. I don't know why you ask if we were there for a special occasion because absolutely nothing was done to acknowledge the occasion. Not one mention of a birthday.

I have no immediate plans of returning to this restaurant. This was only the second time I'd been to this restaurant and service was lacking both times. Perhaps another location would be better, but I was extremely disappointed. My boyfriend has been a server in the past so he is quite sympathetic to servers and even he was bothered.

My husband and I went for dinner, the nacho appetizer was awesome & our main courses were fine too. We found the service to be incredibly slow and with the limited number of people allowed in the restaurant, it was confusing as to why our waitress was MIA. I had to ask another server to get us extra napkins because we couldn’t find our waitress and I had waited for her long enough with dirty hands!! They did not clear our appetizer plates so we had those dirty dishes left on our table while eating dinner. The service was definitely lacking and we won’t likely be returning to that location anytime soon.

Very slow service. Apps before drinks, food was marginal at best. Very disappointing… Not Your Average Joe’s was always a sure thing, not anymore.

We were disappointed because the menu did not include chicken picata, our favorite at NYAJ. Steak tips were good but not what we were hoping for

I like restaurants that serve good bread. They have one of the best bread around here, and it is served with garlic-parmesan olive oil with a dash of chili pepper. It's addicting.
