Oak & Vine at Springside

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Beautiful surroundings and great food.

The food was 'just good' bordering 'just ok'. The portions were small (you will have room for dessert). The prices for the amount of food you get were totally not worth it, $61.00+ including tip for a table for two, no appetizer and no dessert and with just one alcoholic beverage and two waters. They don't start you off even with a little bread or anything like that, (like a really good restaurant would).

We sat out on the enclosed patio- the space heaters kept the porch nice and warm and we felt very safe

Service and quality of food was above average. It was disappointing that we were asked to vacate our table, after being there for less than an hour. Supposedly, there was another party waiting to be seated. We were offered alternative seats in the bar area, yet it was not acceptable when we had not finished our entire meal.

I arrived a bit early and minus 1/2 of my party(a hostess nightmare , I know) I was willing to wait, but the hostess was sweet and charming and led me to a well spaced beautifully set table. She brought me a delicious red wine and water. After everyone arrived,We ordered from a lovely and interesting menu.(who else serves souffle in CNY?)_ The food was delicious and well prepared.Everything was perfect.This place has a beautiful setting.Cant wait til next spring to eat on the deck.But, Ill definitely return before then!!

Quality ingredients that are well prepared. I had nothing that was notably unusual, but everything was tasty. The server started out slow as we waited more than 10 minutes for her to visit the table and bring water, but after that the service was normal.

Great service, good food and an overall enjoyable dining experience

Beautiful facility. Always a nice experience no matter what season. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Amenities are always clean and well kept. The wine and beer selections are good. Knowledgeable bar staff that can make any request happen. Food is top notch from the quantity, quality and presentation. Worth the drive out of the area and a go to spot for us locals. Great place to relax and wind down on a Friday evening after a long week.

I had the dry aged butcher steak that was done perfectly medium rare. My wife had the chicken marsala that she enjoyed very much. We had a nice open air table on the porch with the other diners "socially distanced" from us. We found what we liked on the wine list and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Lovely evening! Took all covid precautions and still had such a nice dinner out.

New Brunch menu excellent - no more buffet but large portions at a lower price (include Mimosa, coffee, pastries on table; good choice of entrees.

Really nice place. First time we were there. Staff excellent. Cocktails good. Smaller Covid menu but everything we ordered was serve promptly and all course were special. Definitely coming back.

This was the first time we visited this restaurant in a while. The meal was good and it was a good value.

First time at Oak and Vine - beautiful place with plenty of outdoor seating for a nice summer evening. Our only quibble was that the steaks were a bit overcooked - more medium well than medium rare. But the Demi-glacé was delicious and the meat was tender. We’ll go back!

Great service and food

Had a great time and the food was excellent. Plenty of room to sit outside with nice scenery.

This is a great place to dine or to celebrate. We had our dinner out of doors today. The front patio overlooks the beautiful grounds and the back patio is delightful. Dylan was our server and he was excellent. The food was great and the pricing is fair. This is one of my wife's favorite places.

We thought our reservation was for outside dining but when we got there the hostess informed us that we didn’t indicate online that we wanted outside dining. They accommodated us. I’m not sure if your form had a space where we could have asked for outside dining.

We love Oak & Vine since it's local to our house, the wine selection is good and the food is great. I was so happy to see them following NYS COVID-19 restaurant guidelines. We felt safe and that the staff cared about us. They wore masks & gloves. Diners on their way on and off the patio and going to the bathroom all wore masks as required.

Good standard American fare in a quiet historic setting

Second time here during trip from NYC area. Service, food and menu selection and atmosphere are terrific! Highly recommend.

Friend’s 60th birthday celebration. First time here so ordered a lot of different dishes to gauge the range of the kitchen. We had six different appetizers: sausage and clams, calamari, beet salad with goat cheese (skipped the Carson’s and candied nuts - too much sugar), baked cauliflower, and cheese soufflé. The soufflé was like a very good mac n cheese without the Mac. It had some croutons. A bit unusual but very delicious and my fav. The calamari was OK. Cauliflower was zippy and very good.

For main courses: salmon: Outstanding. Had a simple but delightful avocado salsa on top. Baked chicken breast smothered in cheese; also was very good. It is a big meal.

Simple selection of NY and out of state wines by the glass and bottle. Generous pours, especially for the prices (we’re from Boston). My fav was the beers for $3.

We sat on the front deck, very nice ambiance. Service was fantastic. All in all, a wonderful experience.

We were so excited to finally go out to dinner and had a wonderful meal served by a lovely waitress. Our only complaint is that it was only 57 degrees outside and the patio heater was not turned on despite us asking several times and being told it would be turned on. We did dress warmer than usual, but our jackets and sweaters just didn’t cut it

First chance for outside dining. Perfect spot with covered porch. Reasonably priced food and drink. Good service.

We were married at the Springside 38 years ago and have been there for several other events and celebrations. Oak & Vine is a first class establishment that cares for their quests and service to them. The place was clean and the meal was excellent. The service was very professional and not overwhelming to us. We would highly recommend the Oak & Vine as well as the Springside Inn as a place to create memories and celebrate the special moments in life.

Everything was wonderful except the music was way, way, wayyyy too loud and for valentines day with a room full of people with an average age of mid 50s the type of music was just inappropriate. I couldn't even hear my date and at one point i had to move my chair right next to him just so we could talk.

food was amazing, room was beautiful, staff was really wonderful and other than music the experience was great.
