Oceanaire Seafood Room - Atlanta
A lot of tables available, but they sit us right in front of the restroom. Wine took a while to be on the table. Octopus hard and tasteless, probably frozen. Fried Calamari very dark so fried in old oil. Absolutely too expensive for the quality they serve you.
Food was great and the waiter was entertaining. The crab cakes were especially great.
My husband and I were celebrating his 41st birthday. This was our 3rd time dining at the restaurant. We have always had a great experience. Thanks to Manny for making my husband's birthday celebration memorable!
The ABSOLUTE WORST DINNER I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! Table rocked to the point I had to stop things from falling over. I ordered a steak medium and it came oit RAW.....yes RAW! David tried to be helpful but the "tall" person checking people in is actually a very "little" man.... smug, rude & abrasive who obviously hates his job...Landry's Inc is that how you do business........?
By far the best service ever. Amazing staff & food was very delish. Thanks for taking care of us Oceanaire.
Josh was our server! He took exceptional care of us. I’m so pleased.
The assigned waiter was profoundly negligent despite the restaurant being busy & resolutely unapologetic. As a result the sommelier, busboy, & other servers helped pull his slack. First time, in my life, I did not tip. He spoiled my birthday so I was prepped to tip very well, on a $190 tab.
My sister called tonight to see how we enjoyed ourselves at Oceanaire- 5 star service and food!
Amazing swordfish and bisque. You won’t be dissatisfied.
Food and service was excellent. Price point for entrees was unusually high, especially when compared to other high end seafood restaurants.
Delicious food!! Great service!!
We visited to celebrate our 5th year anniversary (also where we celebrated our 1st) everything was perfect from the moment we walked in. Our waiter Avi was amazing! He had the best cocktail recommendations and was polite and prompt. Thank you again for making our special day so memorable
Excellent service and good
The food was spectacular and our server Claire was awesome. Will definitely return and will invite my friends!
So good we went both nights we were in Atlanta. Ask for Aaron. He is the best.
Took my Company and a few customers to a nice dinner here and everything was wonderful.
Only complaint, They are very expensive, which explains them not putting the prices on the menu in OpenTable. Tough to say it was worth it frankly.
Everything was wonderful. Service was amazing. We celebrated my friends birthday and she has a wonderful time. The custom menus our a bonus!
A wonderful experience.
The food and service was beyond excellent!!! The waiters were constantly checking on us ensuring that we were satisfied with everything.
We truly enjoyed out experience at Oceanire Seafood. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We received a free appetizer from the manager which was delicious. The food was excellent. Over all it was a fantastic evening.
Service was awesome. The calamari appetizer was good and alot. Drinks were so good. Food was very delicious.
Unfortunately, our order of Seabass was overcooked and the Mac& Cheese was fair. While we have been to other locations where everything was perfect. We thought the service was outstanding which compensated for the other negative experiences.
We are hopeful that our next dining experience will be exceptional and we look forward to dining at Oceaniare in the future.
The server took our order at lunch time and took over an hour to return to our table and still no food. We also asked other servers to help and look into the issue before our server returned. The server claimed that he didn’t know why it was taking so long (I.e., he forgot to submit our order). No manager came out.
Managers need to be roaming the floor and identifying long-standing tables without any food. Issue resolution should also be carried out by managers.
This is my second time dining at Oceanaire in 9 years, even though my office is next door and I live a few blocks away. It will likely be my last.
Great dining experience at Oceanaire tonight. Good service and dessert was over the top.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary and had a wonderful evening. Joshua went above and beyond to give us a great experience. The food was divine!!
Excellent food selection and meals were very good. Service was good, kept us alone but available when needed. The wine prices were over the top, you guys gotta to be kidding. I can appreciate value, but you were gouging on the wine. It is a shame, it puts a damper on an otherwise an excellent experience.
Our experience was outstanding!
Crab cakes were the best we’ve ever had
In the city!!
Excellent experience all the way around.
Although the food was good it was grossly overpriced. The seabass at $72 is crazy. Everything is ala carte as well. Steak was average.
Incredible staff wonderful food and wine a great place for a romantic dinner
For the THIRD time I’ve requested a particular table and for as many times they failed to acknowledge the request until I mentioned it and person AND the table was NOT available. In all cases the bookings were made well in advance.
Also they are unfamiliar with their own wine list and some of the items listed are unavailable.
We live Madeline. She is a wonderful server.
The crab stuffed flounder was tasteless - no flavor. Very hot peppers in the calamari and a batter fried lemon slice that was bizarre. I got what I suspect was good poisoning - had to be from the scampi our calamari.
Food was TRASH
We have dined at Oceanaire in pother cities in the US, and had wonderful experiences. Our visit to the Atlanta Oceanaire for my husbands birthday, was not a great experience. We order an appetizer, that took 30-40 minutes to get to our table, we had to ask our server for bread while we waited for our appetizer. Our appetizer finally came out 2 minutes before our entrees. Our entrees were good, however the sweet potato soufflé left a lot to be desired. The server was apologetic and stated that his manager would come over to talk with us about the items, after about another 20 minutes the manager comes to our table. The manager ask us what’s wrong, says that his server didn’t tell him what was going on with our table, I doubt that’s true. It was not a good experience specially for my husband’s birthday.
Great experience, celebrated my son and my wife’s birthday and we truly enjoyed the experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Oceanaire. Manny was our server. He was very attentive and had the entire menu memorized. We were impressed. We ordered calamari, grilled octopus, escargot, crab cakes, a mixed grill, salmon, and scallops with creamed corn, “to die for”lobster Mac and cheese, and sweet potato soufflé. The sweet potato soufflé was surprisingly not too sweet. It relies on the marshmallow for sweetness and is well balanced. Try the dynamite style on your fresh pick. It’s just the right amount of sweet and spicy. I would definitely order everything we had again. We had kids with us and they were treated like royalty. They loved it.
We stopped in the middle of a long trip & were more than pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a restaurant. Our server Madelyn was friendly & very professional. Our food was delicious - perfectly prepared and as requested. What a lovely surprise.
