Great food, excellent service. I would recommend calling the restaurant if you are booking a large party to remind them, because when I arrived, they were unsure of the reservation. Once the manager came, they prepared our area and from there things were awesome. Our server was wonderful and I will definitely come back again.
It was just ok. A very good happy hour spot though. I'd go again but during happy hour only. Food was decent, portions could've been better. Service was not as attentive but it didn't appear to be enough servers so definitely understood and was good enough despite that.
The food ranged from excellent (Chicken Felicia I think it was ) to just ok (fish and chips). Great beers.
The food was ok, mostly sandwiches on the menu. The service was the worst I have ever had in a restaurant. We waited 20 minutes for a waitress to take a drink order, then she disappeared for 15 minutes before we got our drinks. She mixed up the order and items were left off, couldn't find her to get the situation resolved. We had to flag down another waitress to get some utensils and tell her about our order. My glass of malbec was from an old bottle, was no good but didn't tell the waitress as there would have been no hope of getting a new glass before we were ready to leave. You will be better off at McDonalds- food not much worse but at least you won't have to endure the service issues that we did.
Great food good atmosphere
All our burgers were over cooked. The staff didn't seem to care when we walked in. The waitress was good. Value for price paid was low. Also didn't feel really clean.
This place is located next to the library across from the movies. It is hidden near the sitting area. You have to walk towards the library in order to access it. It can also be accessed next to the garage but it depends on which way you enter or exit. They really should display that information on their site or add a larger sign somewhere. The chicken wings and string beans were good. The lobster stuffed flounder was good as well. It's basically a bar with tables so expect it to be loud even if the place is not crowded.
Waitress was outstanding. Great drink prices. $3 Corona Bottles on Saturdays, I bought a 20oz Stone IPA for $6.50, My wife had a $4 Margarita. I know what your thinking but for the price it was a good value.
Huge menu even has sushi. Parking is free for first 2 hours. Even has vegetarian dishes. Everyday there is some sort of happy hour, don't know how they do it. Give it a shot.
Good place for a quick lunch. Decently priced lunch specials.
The place had a friendly environment. The food was mediocre. The service was fine. It's not a bad place if you lived near by but I wouldn't go out of my way to go to this restaurant.
when here with my wife we got seated and waited half an hour never got seen or served by a waiter or waitress.
Used the open table app to make a reservation and was told that doesn't work by the host. Therefore we left.
We ordered sushi, which was surprisingly good here! We didn't even realize that a sports bar / brewpub would have sushi! Disappointed that they were out if their own IPA, though.
Place was hard to find. Should note that it is a sports bar. Service was ok, had to wait awhile for someone to take order; it was quite busy. She was pleasant. Enjoyed the wings. Sushi was good. Crowded place possibly due to happy hour from 4-7.
Though the service was exceptional I was not completely satisfied with the meal. It was the taste, just wasn't a meal that I was okay paying for. The tap water had a taste of water from a garden hose. This was my first and only time there. I had the steak wrap with mixed vegetables.
I loved this little restaurant, the food was great, service is friendly and it was a great value. As we are not from this area, we were unsure at first but when we first walked in the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu.
We were looking for a casual place for dinner, and Old Dominion Brewhouse fit the bill. The burgers and mozzarella sticks were excellent while the fish sandwich was just ok. While they were out of my husband's first choice for beer, he seemed happy with the alternative, and the kids were happy with all of the tvs! Worth a visit, especially if you are in town to tour the campus.
I made reservations for my daughter's first date and confirmed them with the hostess via telephone. OMG! As promised, she made sure her first date was special, especially on Valentine's Day. I asked the two if this is something, they'd like to do again and they both agreed because they loved the service & the food. I've never been to Old Dominion but take it from these two it's they're new spot and having reservations is so mature to them... I think I started something.
Nice to find a nice restaurant to add to the list. Food was good, truly all American, but something for all. Our server was good, food arrived quickly and exactly as ordered.
